    Good Morning!

I haven't been on the forum in a few days, but I wanted to thank those who have been gifting/trading with me. I really wish I'd come here before, as it really adds to the fun of the game!

Many thanks to Domenic15, Dlstar, AndiNZ, Nirtew, Snappy McFrog, Danjarus, Mia and Shortbus--and to anyone else I may have missed. And I need to apologize: I missed seeing who sent me a Violet Viola Veru. But I do appreciate it!

Thanks especially to Shortbus and Domenic, I have this week's set to pay forward--if you need it, please ask.

Now I'm off to send some froggies out with thanks and Happy Thursday wishes. :)

    Somewhere else
    Martian Time Zone? Maybe Gallifrey's?

Dunno if you guys ever sleep or I merely live Somewhere else, outside of the normal time zones, maybe in a galaxy far, far away.

Here it is, a sleepy, overcast, chilly Thursday morning, coffee brewing in kitchen when I go to check on my frogs & see what the new Weekly Set is. Mon Dieu! Not one set. Not two sets. No, three (3) sets from my generous PF buddies Shasta, then Dom, then short! I mean, seriously, don't you EVER sleep? Thank you all so verrrrry (sp?) much. :)

Needless to say, some of the Dexteras haven't even made it into my MB, not to mention my habs. But they're level 6 so, once there, they'll be on their way. All my friends are at least that level so I'll be sending out in groups of 4's sometime this evening. Would like to send one to our newest member, java, so clear up some MB space. Again, I don't need anything in return.

p.s.: I'd be terribly remiss if I didn't mention the other great froggies I received this otherwise dreary morning from Dom, Quo, Snappy, frogtastic, & Nirtew. Thanks to each & every one of you, I'm 82 frogs away from the elite 5,000 Club. Prepare the libations...just not too soon.
p.p.s.: Quo, I've bred the Maroon Aurum Veru but have had lousy luck racing other frogs. Clearly I need some tips before I risk my thoroughbred frog.

Thanks for the Maroon Ceres Gyrus as it was new for me. I sent you a Bulbus. Thanks again for the Red Carota Veru! While taming him, I found an 11-stamp present before sending him on.

Tips for racing (mentioned previously before by others in the forum.)

Race frogs at 100% happiness whenever possible.

Choose frogs with good speed and stamina (sometimes a much higher stamina will yield better results than one with a high speed value and lower stamina.) Of course, more consistent results will come from racing frogs with equal (or approx. equal) speed and stamina such as the Maroon Aurum Veru.

Race any one frog only two or three times per day.
If pocket frogs seems to be on a losing streak (three or four different frogs lose), I will stop and resume racing another day. Good luck!

P.S. Thank you also to Shortbus for this week's set, Quo for the Cocos and Beige Magus frogs, dean for the many nice verus, jklau for the Signum and Serpentis , dlstar for the Bullas, gracesqx for the Royal Ligo, and anyone else I may have forgotten.

    Thank you,

    Thanks and looking for Ludo

Thanks to everyone for the gifts - Lisianne - Dexteras galore!, dlstar and SnappyMcfrog, dean288367 and Quossum, and hello to domenic15!

I have a question about weekly sets (photo attached)...if I press "Get New" (set) do I forever lose the chance to complete this set, or will it go back into the queue?

My weekly set is on "Clowning Around", so I'm looking for a Ludo! Can trade up to level 8.

    Thanks :)

    Thanks for the hello!

Can you please which Ludo are needed. It has been a while, plus my age, so the memory is not what it used to be.

You DON'T lose the chance to complete a past set. When you finish a current set, the last past set you *did not* complete is presented again. They should pop up automatically (when a set is completed) in reverse chronological order.

Glad you could use the Dexeras. Sent the other demi-set to danjaurus, another relatively new member. Personally, I need no more set frogs at this point. OK, OK, maybe next week's set!

p.s.: My mailbox is overflowing with gratitude to jklau, frogtastic, danjaurus, Nirtew, dlstar, & Snappy.
p.p.s.: Haven't dared to race the Veru yet, Quo, but have won a few low level races with Cocos Bruna Dextera. Building up my courage to race with heavy-weights.

    FANTASY FROGGIE FOOTBALL
    WEEK 4

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys 1:00pm ET

Everyone has until kick off time to post who they think will win the game.
Once you post your choice it cannot be changed

Everyone who has correctly picked the winner will be gifted a frog from my habitat. (They are normally level 15/16 frogs).

BONUS: You can guess what the final score will be and if you are correct you will get the frog and color of your choice in all the secondary colors:eek:. Yes, that is 16 frogs for guessing the correct winner and score. Please make sure that your winner and score are all one post.
Note: once a score is posted it cannot be used again.

OMG! I was joking, java! No way I want you to spent your sparse coins or valuable stamps on me - that's why I want nothing in return from you. PLUS, PLUS dom, Nirtew, & jklau, just since this morning, have made sure that my MB was never wanting for gifts. Thanks to you all. Again!

Maybe too much of a good thing for with a full MB downtime I can't try out my nascent frog-racing skills. Now I have bred both the Cocos Picea Magus ***AND*** the Maroon Aurum Veru. All I need is a slightly empty MB to begin my new career as a speed demon. Will use the tips you so kindly shared, Quo. You may very well have created a monster. Hope you have the monster-dote handy!
