Being a low level only affects the highest rarity that you can breed. Also, I can give Purple Pride, Watermelon, Pretty in Pink, or Legendary 3 for anyone that can get me Citrus Mixtus.
You'll be able to receive the gift(s) no problem.. it's just that since a Lucus is level 11, you'd have to reach level 11 before you can breed it yourself.
