Good Morning! I'm working my way through beige breeding, and I'm wondering if anyone could use a few beige Pingos or Mixtus. These aren't complete sets; sometimes when my tabs are full I just keep breeding to get through a species. (Also, I do the higher levels more sporadically to fill in so I'm not waiting forever for hatchlings from all habs.) Also, thanks to Snappy McFrog for the pretty gift! I sent you something in return; if you're still wanting Verus, he does very well at the races.
You're welcome and thank you for the gift frog. I am still slowly working on the Veru, with 33% finished. On another note, is it just me or are stamp presents scarce in the pond? I can find potion presents much easier, although I have enough potions. Every now and them I will find some stamp presents and then none for a while. Thanks to shortbus for this week's set (Though, my MB was so full that it came a day or two after I had completed it). Thanks to Andi for the Nasus and Quossum for the Veru.
What a bonanza this morning, it wad raining frogs! Thanks SO much to Shortbus for the ocularis, trufsy for the magus, dom for the sol, dean288367 for the two floresco ( what can I send you now that you're at 100%?), andi for the nasus and snappy for the arbor. I hope I didn't forget anyone.
Yes, extremely rare which makes me wonder if the devs tweaked the ratio of stamps in presents. I found some yesterday but I was extremely, painfully persistent. I have resorted to getting stamps from rewards, only accepting those which yield stamps, and only low level frogs at that. For instance, I was offered 3 stamp rewards for frogs that cost me 4 stamps to get out of the mailbox but yielded 12 stamps for a net gain of 8 stamps per reward. I buy the low level frog from my catalogue, the relevant anura from my froggydex, wait the half hour for the anura to be delivered then breed. I use potions to quickly mature the reward frog as I have a ton of potions. On a related note, I got the same reward request, for a tangelo carota cest,i 3 times, after the second one I finally got smart and catalogued it. On the theory that the requests may repeat, I am now cataloging all frogs I use for requests.
I think glumbumble has the right idea. I stopped doing coin requests some time ago, accepting only rewards of potions and stamps. Now I'm in a stamp shortage (well, about to drop below 1000...) whereas I still have plenty of potions (over 1700), so I think I'm going to go for only stamp requests. And yes, I am happy to welcome poor, maligned little Nasus into my habs! I think they're very cute. The prettiest breed of all to me is Insero, which I have already dexed, and I also like Mixtus, Clunicula, Ludo, Dextera...and of course the other "blended" frogs of the new breeds, Bulbus and Signum. To me, the ugliest frogs are the Lucas and Ligo, and the Lanterna is just creepy. But my most disliked frog is the Nimbilis. Totally "unreal" frog that to me looks like forced advertising, or like those race cars or runners or cyclists plastered with sponsor ads. Raining here! This is amazing, since we have been in a severe drought for a good long time. I think I'm going to sit before the window and enjoy it. --Q
I have always felt that you get more potions than stamps, so I was surprised when I recorded the results of 394 taming sessions in the pond and found I had received more stamps than potions - 1645 stamps vs 1482 potions. In a reply to an earlier post of mine Dean said he had found that to be the case also. I think one reason we perceive it as more potions than stamps is, as has been reported earlier, one can run into long streaches of stamp droughts. Recently I had a run in the pond where I got 219 potions and only 41 stamps. That's an unusual ratio to say the least.
Invite someone to come and play in your backyard and then beat them bad Congrats on the win! Just pay it forward (as you have very graciously been doing).
Current players and picks: Nirtew Minn 24-17 Andi TB 20-17 Quossum TB 20-14 Still have about a day to post your pick. Don't have to be a football fan to play, just take a guess, you never know.
LOL, no quarter asked or given! Last time the ABs played Japan, it was 74-0, and in 1995 we went to theirs, and beat them by over 100 points in each of two games, including a 145-0 thrashing that remains our biggest test result ever. Latest news, last night, Ireland tipped over Australia by 15-6. As a Kiwi, I of course support the All Blacks, and anyone against Australia (even if they do have a Kiwi coach!).
Obaro Ranitas, Obaro are sometimes sold at the store for 25 potions, yes. Or I can send you one. There are several Ranitas-types listed in Plus. What's your Plus name?
Me please As no one has specifically requested any of my white albeo's I'm going send some of them out randomly and sell the rest. After breakfast . Have a great day everyone. Obs.
