Thanks to DeanKeith Thanks to DeanKeith for sharing the details of how you breed. I'm at 50% (again!). In order to get the 5000 award, I'd been dexing by color -- a set of anuras in one color, with all the secondary colors, bred by species. I was doing through Nasus to get to 5000. With white, I started going all the way up through all species; I'm breeding beige now. When I'd started, I was getting the higher levels as pond gifts and by racing, breeding just the last 15-20 or so. Now I'm racing for Pingo & Biplex, but can't get Trivium, since the new species don't appear in the races. So the info on how to breed one species is helpful. I might not do it the same way you do, but you've given me some ideas. Thanks for taking the time to post that.
Although I play pretty randomly, I totally enjoyed the discussion about strategy. The more you guys talk, the more fun it is here. Boatloads of thanks to boatloads of people today - hard to keep track there were so many, needed, froggie gifts! Congratulations dean288367 on your achievement of a 100% Froggydex! I tend to keep too many frogs at the same time, even with the expanded habs! When I first started playing and read a blog on iPhone Dev Pinoy, I had one or two of each type and tried to keep all the primary and secondary anura colors in the catalog before I dexed the Anuras completely. After dexing anuras, kept a few in the catalog and mostly fill it with frogs I like or ones that I plan to breed sometime later. Lately, I keep lower-level breeds in there and some higher-level ones in case I have to gift them or sell before breeding. I also keep ones I race from time to time in my habs and ones that are visually appealing. I have completed all achievements except the 5,000 Frog one. I work on various frog breeds at once, but am trying to work on the Veru. Can't seem to focus very long as I want to keep to many frog breeds at once! Anyone still need this week's Ludo set? Will send out in about an hour. Thanks to all who sent me gifts today. Mailbox is full and it won't be empty until I clear out the set Ludos.
Thank you and everyone else for the congrats. When I was dexing it was obvious what breed I was doing because that was all I had in my habitats (except for one habitat that was for gifting). I started at the anuras and worked my way to verus. As soon as a frog was mature it was out of my habitat. Even though I am no longer dexing I still do not like a mature frog to be in my habitat to long. Old habits are hard to break
Informal Survey Informal survey: What is the hardest breed to find in the pond? Ok, I realize that the answer will probably depend to a certain degree on what you are looking for BUT I normally am looking for a Veru, Magus, Floresco and Calvaria and I very rarely find a Floresco.
I also do not find many Florescos in the pond. The last one I found was either Green Bruna or Green Cafea Floresco. Anyone else have better luck finding them? Thanks for the Magus, Dean!

I find Florescos more difficult to find than Calvarias and by an overwhelming margin both of them more difficult than Maguses and Verus. In 394 tamings, I found 168 Maguses and Verus and only 23 Calvarias and Florescos.
Hi, everyone! I agree, the Floresco seems to be quite scarce in the pond. I missed one recently because my MB was full, and I remember thinking that I see them so rarely. But what's up with hating on the poor lil' Nasus? That's one of my favorite frogs! The ones with Ceres look like cute little people. I've really enjoyed this week's set. It's a fun challenge when there are all the different colors; I just bred the last two and have them maturing. A very cute and whimsical set. You won't be able to breed them, but the level 16 frogs are good for coins: about 5,000 each if you sell them when you get them, if you can leave them in your mailbox until they are 'delivered' you'll get twice that. Lots of friendly people here always willing to help. Hang around a while. P.s. Lots of bigbas on Plus. Are your kids the bigba with the initials D.R.?

Yeah, bald, ugly little people. All I can tell you is, I find them completely unappealing, and will be racing through them ASAP. Each to their own, no doubt you will enjoy the froggy gifts I'll be sending. Nice to think someone will appreciate 'em.
There is a total of 16 habitats including the nursery. I finally got you added and sent you a level 8 nimbilis (the NB frog) so it will be ready for you when you get to that level. I remember that I had alot of trouble finding this one when I went to level 8. Welcome and pay it forward when you can.
