Your game data backs up on Plus+. It's a godsend providing Plus+ continues because it cannot be accessed via Game Center nor moved there, according to devs.. The PF .ipa is the app itself. Last time, for unwary souls who didn't update their PFs before deleting PF (for whatever reason) & then logged onto Plus+, the data versions were incompatible since the number of habs had increased. Those guys have major problems for most have to begin at square one. Having said that, any update for any program can pose problems. The last update to PF caused problems as well for those who HAD updated - they had issues accessing sets because the program crashed. Major, major problem. This update is supposed to fix that problem. Since I don't have the issue, I am happy to wait. FWIW, I update the app .ipa of the programs I use most on a regular basis. If you get a lemon, as I have, you can go back to the previous .ipa. I practically developed carpal tunnel syndrome this morning laying out the steps on the GetSatisfaction forum for people who lost their entire games. And NO, it does not involve jailbreaking or any alteration of the iOS! Dean, support at GS have said that a forum for trading was not possible. Am asking for "sticky thread" but doubt it'll fly. Okay, everyone knows that PF will not sync between devices however you can have different games (with the same plus+ id) on two different devices. The problem is that whatever you do on one game will not be reflected on the other game. Of course this is not a problem for what I use it for, it is what I want. Example: So you have the game on both devices and they are exactly the same because you just added the game to the second device. You breed some frogs on device A and increase your froggydex. If you go to device B, those frogs will not be on that game. It is like having 2 different games that cannot interact with each other. It is not a good idea to play both games which is why I said to uninstall the backup game when it is no longer needed. Once in a great while you will get kicked out of plus+ and have to sign back in and you may end up getting the "wrong" saved game. I mention this because someone tried it once and it did not end well. I hope I explained this so that it is understandable. If not just let me know and I will try again.
