After playing this game for a year and being on the thread for 10 months and hearing and trying every method I have come to the conclusion that every method for finding pond presents works After all they are random. When we go to the pond we just hop and are happy and excited when we find a present we need and it makes the game fun and our method is good.
Here are my thoughts and what I found works for me. I hop around catching whatever flies I can and try to catch the large flies. If after I catch a large fiy, I circle around and usually find a frog but I continue to circle until I can catch another large fly. Once this happens I always find a present. So my thought is this, the first large fly creates a frong and the second creates a present. This has occurred about 75% of the time. I never have to travel too far. Once a frog is located, I never move more than three pads away in one direction. I then nail a large fly and almost immediately, I find a present.
In the same pond I never got the Bulbus when it was released. I have all other patterns and have created them all as glass chrome. Happy to trade for any kind of Bulbus. zakkfrog

Missed bulbus frog I am apparently not alone in missing the bulbus frog. I would appreciate one. I will happily trade any other frog as I have all the rest. Thank you
