This weeks set - 2011 Set 35 "Mood Frogs" I have some more ready to go soon. Sent out 22 pairs of breeding stock to most of my neighbors that are active. Sorry if I missed you. If you are interested in a breeding pair let me know. I will not be able to check PM or forum post for 24 hrs.
Man, you guys are fast! I get up this morning, at 5am no less, pick up my frogs (yes, that's usually the first thing I do in the morning), and wonder why Glass Chroma Inseros are flying about like crazy. Ah, the set frogs! Thank you for sending them to me, as I would have had to pull them from the 'dex for $$$. Also many warm thanks to domenic15, ashpupp, and shortbus123 for some lovely little hoppers (including a rainbow of Beige Bullas) the past few days. Have you guys noticed that the new breeds don't show up in the requests or sets? The newest frog I've seen in a Weekly Set was Marinus, and I haven't seen any of the new ones in a request. I'm thinking I should 'dex the new breeds next, once I get through a couple of the older ones that I've kind of already started. It seems to me that as requests and sets come in, I'll be making new color combinations of the older breeds along and along, therefore filling more spaces in their 'dex in the natural course of the game, then making it that much easier when it gets time to tackle their 'dexing. You guys get what I'm talking about? Or maybe I'm the only crazy one who spends so much time thinking about stuff like this. Fellow 'dexers, how do you decide what breed to tackle next? --Q
Yes, Quo, they are fast! And beyond generous (maybe beyond sleep for dunno how they do it so quickly). Both Short & Dom sent me breeding pairs of Weekly Set frogs this morning. When they arrive, I'll breed 8 new ones then immediately share the original pairs. Didn't remember the Marinus was part of a past set but you're correct. At this point, it seems like a mistake for those hoping to complete past sets who are not into trading (just getting stuff from FrogMart & non-pond frogs via potions) might be "stuck" for a looooooong time at the Aurora Borealis Set in their quest to complete past sets. Short, you shipped twenty-two (22) pairs?! Mind-boggling & finger-numbing since you had to tame before you sent. Is the day somehow longer where you live? p.s.: Great thanks of course to Short & Dom for the Weekly Set breeders, to Shasta for my Request Frog, & to Snappy for a lovely Bulbus. I used to try to always reciprocate with same or higher value frogs but realizing you may have finished many of those, I'm slowly working towards sending rarer frogs you may not already have, which would be more valuable.
Been visiting on the East End. Haven't had power since Sunday morning. Got it back today. Thank you andi, Shasta, and Snappy for the gifts so far. Thank you everyone whose gifts are still in the queue. I was just about to request a frog from this week's set when a gift came in of a Glass Chroma Insero from Shortbus! Thanks. I've got a lot of catching up to do. I look forward to it.
Glad everyone is enjoying their frogs. Here is my recipe: I am on the west coast. I think the frogs are technically released at midnight which usually means I see the new set by 10pm my time. Burn throughout a pile of stamps and potions before long you have a bunch of frogs. Tap tap tap for an hour or so while watching tv then send em off.
Looking for Promo Frogs I just found this forum, so I'm not sure about the protocol, let me know if there are any rules or anything. I am looking for any Bulbus, Bulla, Dextera, Geminus, Gyrus, Ludo, Marinus, Obaro, Orbis, Persona, Signum, Trivium, or Vinaceus I think those are all promo frogs and not available in the pond? I really have been having problems finding a list of ones that are and aren't available in the pond. I also have 6 Tangelo Aurum Lanternas I could give to a few people who need one or give in return for one of the above. My plus id is Joolissa Thanks! - Jools

Wow!!! Wow! I am overwhelmed! Thank you all so much! I've got one or more than one of all those breeds now, plus another glass chroma and an inserno and serpentis etc. Crazy! I will definitely be sticking around this place. Thanks again to anyone who sent me a frog. Anybody know anyone looking for the lanterna's? Don't think there is a specific protocol. No rules & such. We always welcome members who come, stay, & contribute since they renew & revitalize the community here. No one expects a total newbie to be gifting Verus & some people even prefer you "pay it forward." I tend to take the name of this thread literally, "PF Trading Thread." The fact that you offered to "trade" or "give away" some Lanternas is reminiscent of my first posts in this forum. Didn't have much to give, at level 7 or 9, & happy to have found a bunch of people as enthusiastic about the game as myself. As I had more, I gave more. What I received in terms of virtual friendship in this tiny community was more valuable than any single frog or Set or Request frog. Hope your experience mirrors mine. Sent you a "welcome" Gyrus - take it out for a spin. p.s.: Thanks to Andi for Obaro & Pingo. Send you & another friend a set of breeding frogs I received yesterday from Dom & Short. Hi everyone, long time no see. I stopped playing for a while and was having problems with plusnet losing all my friends. Everything seems to be working again now though. I'm looking for a Bulbas and an Obaro - I have every other breed (I think!) and will breed to order if there is anything specific you need. Thank you to Dean for the lovely Serpentis collection, Dom and Lisi for the set frogs (still one set behind, so they will come in very handy in catching up), to pbacchi and mooosang for ongoing generosity, and to everyone else who's been sending me gifts.
