I sent you the orbis and vineaous, along with several others. Hopefully, the wait will not be to long.

  2. Yeah …things I'd do to stop headache. Oh I'm not sure it's publishable nor the things I have done but thanks for the suggestions, I'll put them on the list for next time.*buy pink socks soon*

Umm well I give myself kudos as I haven't gifted to you very much. Really don't bawk at that statement. I try to respect the not send to others or wait till after … but often the froglets over run the place and I'm a sucker for froglet sad eye pout. Getting ready for next deployment.

Qwerty, dean, inky, lizardfire still playing.

Thanks Dom! For returning missing froglets 
Okay is late or early, I need a nap before the mass sendoff. Shasta

Oh and thanks to all froglets gifts.

I hope the one I sent was one you needed.

I don't know how many "interior decorators" are on here, but if anyone would like a Scarab Artifact, let me know. I hopped on it in the pond and couldn't bring myself not to accept such a pricey gift, even though I already have one.

Especially if there are any beginners who aren't able to buy it from the store yet. +36 happiness!

    Gotta catch up.

Glad that, as you say Shasta, people like Inky, dean, Liz & Q are still "in the game," so to speak, although absent here. Then again, some like sab, never post.

Speaking of which, I always wondered, Quo (half-name basis OK?), why it took you so long to join this thread. It never occurred to me that you might not know of its existence (if, indeed, that's the reason). You're quite a welcome addition since you arrived.

Hook, welcome back! Had written your 'obit' as well. Prematurely as it turned out. Never could trade much with you for just as you would prefer NOT to be repaid, trading to me is a two-way street. As for insomnia, pink socks don't sound too bad but a green mohawk might turn my double bed into a single. Fast.

p.s.: Lots & lots of thanks to many people: Shasta (for a gyruscropic collection of frogs, Dom & Snappy (for set frogs, four sent out already, breeding rest for giveaway later),& Quo (for many Sols)
p.p.s.: Not adding new people so didn't gift you anything, mudawan. Thanks for the thanks anyway.

Not dead, just out of town for a min. Plan to stick around for a while. Glad no offence was taken at my lack of need as none was intended, its just that right now my only needs are a place to post long geeky ramblings and a zen pond to jump froggies in. As soon as that changes, I promise to let you know.

p.s. Came across a really loverly color combination, lime viola. It looks good in clunicula and am gonna try it out in biplex and trivium soon. C-ya:cool:

Eh...I knew of the thread, since back on the strategy thread they would grype at people asking for frogs and direct them here, but I didn't post much here because I like solving the challenges and such on my own. Not that I don't appreciate a little help now and then, don't get me wrong! I've gotten some very nice lil' dex-boosters from the folks here the past few days. And I was totally stuck getting hold of that one breed, so I doubly appreciate the gifts of that one.

Since the people here seem so kind and generous and fun, though, I've kept on posting, and I'm also hoping to pay it forward a bit when I see someone in need. Not to mention, people here are still talking about the game, while the strategy thread is dead!

I'm trying to pay back in spades (and, er, Sols) everyone who gave me any sort of frog, but just letting everyone know, that if I randomly give you something, or if I "overpay" for a gift you gave me, feel no need to pay me back! I do enjoy sending 'em out, I've found!

    Happy hopping!

Totally love your "geeky ramblings" - do keep it up. Lifts my spirits & adds color to the thread. Descriptive writing is my intellectual aphrodisiac.

Beyond delighted to have you here, Quo. Truly. Hope you stay.

BTW, "Q" (qwerty)was another member here before you. So not using "Q," [already taken] just "Quo," if that's OK.

p.s.: More thanks to Snappy, Andi, & Shashta. MB quite satiated at this point. Set will be ready tomorrow so let me know if you still need them.

I've got eight Black Chroma Sol's up for grabs. Who needs them for the set?

Love the pun! Couldn't resist, eh? ;)

Meanwhile, I couldn't resist two missteps this morning in my bleary-eyed, pre-coffee-infused state:

    1) I refused the Request frog you sent because, unbeknownst to me, it was already in my catalog & registered as a frog I already had [one of the 19%] so I refused it! Not to worry, tho', for I just bred it myself.
    2) I sent you two of the Set frogs totally forgetting that you had already done it AND you prefer to do the challenges yourself. Apologies.

Still won't visit others' habs now to see if they have already bred stuff for too afraid of losing them. Support thread about "Other" problem is not making any headway that I can discern. Surprised, in retrospect, that NimbleBit would release both a new game (TT) at the same time as a significant update to a popular, existing game (PF).

Back to you, Hook. Forgot to mention that the "zen" aspect of PF is what's most appealing to me along with the interpersonal appeal of this forum thread, with its wacky, wonderful, articulate participants. What we do not share is your desire to attain 100% of the 'dex for it is incompatible with my use of the game for relaxation.

Also, like you, I enjoy the magic of finding presents in pond but with full MB (more the norm than the exception these days), a delightful surprise goes to waste. Wish people would limit gift to 1/day, if that. Maybe I'll approach a more Hook-like state & request NO gifts.

p.s.: Thanks for today's froggies to Nirtew, Andi, Quo (our very own status-seeker), & of course, Snappy (for the Request frog).
p.p.s.: Gifted Set frogs in groups of two to people in this forum at random. Again, sorry but hab visiting hours are permanently over until NB fixes this bug.

    Marinus and bulbus pretty please!

Hey guys, I've been staring at this set that requires a marinus for like a month and I really just want it done. Anyone have one to share/gift/trade? I can trade pretty much anything except a bulbus, which I'd love as well. Thanks! Lucy

Holy shit. This thread has almost as many posts as the what should I get thread. And that thread is stickied and has been around longer.

Lucyschmo, sent you a Marinus--hope it helps!

Lisianne, no prob sending me "extra" Black Chroma Sols. I was actually pleased to get them this time, as now I can easily send my already tamed breeders to my sister (who is 'way behind on the sets) and pull your two from my mailbox to let them complete my set. My youngsters are still maturing. :)

I, too, think it was kind of weird that Tiny Tower and a huge PF update came out at the same time. Maybe it was to keep us Froggers occupied, sitting quietly in the corner wearing out our thumbs getting the new breeds, while they concentrated on the new game.

Of course, they should have anticipated that with any huge update comes glitches, from minor to major.

Still, I am very pleased with the update. The additional habitats are just wonderful. It shows that they're listening to the steadfast fans...at least a little.

I can't get into Tiny Towers. Maybe it's too commercial, not Zen enough.

    Happy hopping!

Thanks for the pun Quossum and the gift frogs! Keep up the good humor!

Lisi, I love searching for presents in the pond also, one of my favorite parts of the game. Whenever I land on a new frog present with a full mailbox it makes me sigh a little. Sometimes I land on them anyway when I am running low on stamps. Anyway, wishing all of you a nice evening.

Thank you the gifts Dom and to Lisi, Shashta, Hook, and Schulzi85 and Milow8740 plus anyone else who recently sent me gift frogs! :)

Anyone heard anything from thesirjay recently? I have not seen any recent posts and his XP meter and frogs through Plus+ appear to be unchanged.

    Thank you,

I woke up to a frog shower this morning! Thanks, shortbus123 and Nirtew!

Still making my way through Sols and developing my stable of breeders for Magus. Slow going, but fun.

Oh, I know many of us play PF for its Zen aspects. Just found another game with that same sort of vibe: Boomshine. Simple, addictive, relaxing, yet mentally stimulating and challenging. Give it a try.

    Happy hopping, everyone!

Thanks for all the help - I have been doing some other things in life for now - but I still am hooking up my daughter. I have been trying out "Go" and I must admit it is a fun mental challenge. I may "hop back in" in the future but I wanted to give a warm thanks to all of you who helped make this a very interesting game for me and I will share that same feeling with my daughter.
