Wow! Usually one would wait to see what the set is so that they can determine if it is something they can create first. You have a nice assortment in the Habs. You may be able to help some less fortunate or noob players who cannot create it because of their present level. You are on a trading forum?
Thanks for trying, Snappy. What is this "other list" issue you describe, and am I able to work around it from my end? I still need one Bulbus, any Bulbus. Separately, has anyone come across a good rhythm for building up their 'dex? I'm finding I can only get 2 turns a day with Legendary frogs, 3 if I use potions smartly. Level 32. 100% Anura, Veru, Magus Working Signum, Floresco, Cavalvaria, Biplex, Pingo, all over 50%

Sent bulbus. Snappy did you search dentonmatthew or dentonmatthews. I couldn't find him before that but I added and sent np aftet I got the name right. Strategy. Hmm, well you do know that you don't have to grow them up just breed. Once in the egg the dex goes up by 1. Of course the coins are an issue but not so m'ch if you sell some to make back what you bred. Though if anyone finds out your selling to research facilities or bait shops, (shiver) you'll be blacklisted to neverland and not the one with Peter and tinker!

The "Other" issue began with this latest update which tried to correct a problem where people would lose their entire list of friends - temporarily. Now, people in your "Friend" list can for a variety of reasons fall into your non-giftable "Other" list. The workaround is to leave that person in the "Other" list & try adding as a "Friend" again. This worked fine with my friend oger for a while BUT I recently lost Shasta & she was waaaaaaaaaaaay harder to get back. Took 3 tries & rebooting my iPhone. Plus, her addition, like oger's, will be only temporary. General consensus (& my experience) bear out the idea that visiting others' habs will trigger this unwanted effect. That's why I'm not touching my "Friend" list until this is fixed - not to add someone, not to take off someone. It's too tedious (& risky) to lose someone.
Wondering if this is currently perceived as a "PF Trading Thread" & not just a giveaway thread. Maybe it's just evolving that way. Former members pcllw, BW, qwerty, llurgy & dean left a while ago after being heavy, generous "gifters." More recently, Hook, Giroth, unweirdo, & Andi. Perhaps when the imbalance between the number of "gifters" & the "takers" shifts too fast or too dramatically, with more stopping in for their daily dose of froggie gifts or weekly sets, one can see the none too subtle shift from community to just a bunch of random people. And reserving a set in advance? Gotta say that's a new one on me. What if we all did that? And why stop at the next set, why not reserve the next 10 sets? Extrapolation based on the present paints a disquieting view of the future here. Apologize if this post sounds grim. Especially to people like Snappy & short, relative newcomers here, who set down roots & have gone from newbie to integral part of the community in such a short time. Even more so to Shasta, dom, & Nirtew, among others, who have helped build this community over a long period of time. Maybe I'm just having a bad hair day... p.s.: Thanks so much for your generous gifts Shasta, Quossum, Snappy, & sab.
Oh, actually, I'm currently just catching up on previous sets and I'd just like to speed it up so eventually I CAN start making the new sets myself and send them out to others.

it's probably not great for a trading forum that some (me) don't care if you get gifted back and regularly send unrequested gifts out in that then some people see the place as a give away area. to some degree it is, but most people gift back even if you don't ask. i don't know about others it doesn't so much bother me about asking for sets or anything but don't expect it if you are new or never regift. even then i don't know that i care in that i can choose who i give to and who i choose to have on my list. I do what andi, did/does, you stay on my list as long as you gift back occasionally, doesn't matter what you regift, and post here your gifting to others or others are saying thanks about gifts you sent. since i am not here much i rely on the gifting just to make sure they are active and i'm not sending froglets to starve. there is the occasional one like the bug (literal not like the losing friends issue) in plus+ avatar that i just couldn't handle so they couldn't stay on my list. i know it's weird but bugs freak me out. as far as gifting back anything will do but the ones worth the stamp to send for you as i can sell if they are a duplicate and coins are always needed in the quest to breed new froglets to take over the world! i think this place works as long as people want it to. i mean for me at least it's about the froglets and less about people. probably not the healthiest point of view but it works for me. i like pf and as long as there are froglets to grow and share i'm happy. with 10k more to 100% i don't worry about getting there as much as i do about the froglets. it's the best friends of the amphibian world. no froglet left behind! shasta oh and if you haven't gotten a froglet from me recently either you got removed as i lost my list a while ago and only put back ones who regifted. if you want to return to the pond just gift me something then i'll know as i have a very huge list of followers so the way to get noticed is to gift. that is unless you have a bug, something gory, or revolting or immodest as your avatar then gift to dominic, lisanne or many of the others here but you'll never be on my list sorry. you'd be surprised just how many there are out there with odd avatars. this is a frog friendly game rated g for good times for all ages so nothing you wouldn't show to your child, niece, younger brother, 90 year old grandmother or father, neighbor, or kindergartener. at least that is my standard. if you don't like, well there are plenty of other plus+ users out there to play with you. wow that was a soapbox or three rant. sorry. it's been a day so take what you want and leave the rest at the door.
um i think more it's that some of us ignore the bans... that is we try to wait but something the froglets just beg to have a sleepover at another pond and who am i to deny them that request? saying no has never been an easy thing for me to do. froglets have an unfair advantage being so cute!
