Yippee! Request frog sent by Snappy (thanks again so much) made it into my MB & into a hab for a very short stay, I admit. After a brief hopping exercise in the pond, it went on to the NimbleBit Request site in the sky where I'm sure it's byting bits of flies. I thank all of you for not gifting me during this time. Will be back to trading tomorrow, but NOT on a grand scale. Leveled up to 27 a couple of days ago but today finally reaped the reward of 14 stamps & 14 potions. Heavenly. Been using a lot lately trying to repay Shashta whether she wants/needs it or not. My Bulbus count has gone up considerably since Shashta's beyond generous flood. "Merci mille fois," (our equivalent of "Thanks a million) but "mille" means "a thousand" - they're obviously a bit stingier in France. Must be the Euro issue... And, speaking of money, I was reading a post on the GetSatisfaction support site for NimbleBit & a customer was complaining about uninstalling PF then not being able to log in as him/herself again. Said s/he was out $500. OMG! (expression which now made it into the Oxford English Dictionary so I can use it with impunity). NimbleBit has made money on me but only about $10 + tax (minus Apple's take). Wonder how much people here have paid for "in app" purchases. No need to say, just idle curiosity on my part. I have bought the Babyproof kit, Express mailbox, and perhaps a couple of small potion/stamp packs early in the game. I do not plan to buy any more stamps or potions, though. Ok so the good news is I got plenty'o'froglets. The other news is lisianne I still owe you 16 froglets. Since I haven't heard from Uweirdo I'm going to change off to Dominic for the last 40. See above for choices. Sadly for Dominic I think ge sent 3/4 of them. Soooo let's me know what is most helpful then I still have a flood of froglets waiting. I think shorty instituted copy phenomenon as I had 5 or more new followers and froglets hoping over from parts unknown on that of the regular schedule peeps! I know I mentioned I have stamp'o'plenty but let's not forget low impluse control over needing to keep the mailbox empty or at least partially so when I hop I can partake in pond gifts. Be careful what you wish for peeps. It's a challenge to not clear the mb repeatedly so I can see what's next and that requires taming and then seeing froglets off to new adventures. Indian fire aka infantigo (spelling is likely wrong). It's a bacteria infection (as I recall) that you get if you scratch mosquito bites raw. Once the bacteria incubates in the wound it spreads. It feels like looks like leprosey would with scabs galore and of course the itch. The warmer the climate the worse it is. I was about 10 when I got it visiting grandparents in Mississippi. Horrid iodine baths. Hands stuffed in socks (did i mention hot) as if that would stop the itching. Ha! Luckily I only got it once ever but it was a miserable summer vacation. I don't have it now but one of the meds I take has a nasty habit of making me feel like that at times. Not often, it's just one of those things you go.… really? I didn't realise I needed that challenge today. Ugh. I'll answer to anything really but it's shasta. Someone stole it before I got here so I settled for an extra h. Add that to my different gamecenter name, different openfeint name and different plus+ name I rarely know who I am most days. Okay it's time to call it sleep is challenging but going without it is always worse. Safe hoping froglets. Shast

Hello, all! I've posted over on the strategies thread, but it doesn't seem as hoppin' (*giggle*) as this one these days. I'm level 28 and plugging my way through the 'Dex right now. My question is...how do we get the Bulbus breed? I've patiently waited for all the others to show up in the store and bought them (as well as getting a gift here and there from a generous frog-friend) so that I can catalog them for future 'dexing, but Bulbus still hasn't shown up. Is there a trick to this one? Did I miss something somewhere? Should I just be patient and wait? I know it's high level, but so is Signum, and that one's shown up twice now. Speaking of tricks...has anyone noticed that we still get the "Download Blah-Blah app free!" popups, but no longer accompanied by the "and get a free Whatever Frog!"? I guess that's the price of losing developer enthusiasm. Humbug! To answer lisianne's musing...I bought the babyproofing kit (best IAP ever), the express mailbox, and, 'way back when I started playing, the largest stamp pack and the largest potion pack. I do regret those last two to an extent, because now that my playing style has settled into a rhythm, I don't find myself using many potions at all, and earning plenty of them (and of stamps) by fulfilling requests and the weekly sets. But of course those things weren't around in the early days, so perhaps I can be forgiven my anxiety. It was this colorful, humorous aspect of the thread that I desperately missed during your absence. So glad you & your wonderful wackiness are back. Low on Bulla & Gyrus, 'cause they're new breeds. And, that Black Callaina Insero you mentioned. Well, I had kept that frog for the longest time because it was simply too beautiful to part with. In fact, way too many of my frogs overstay their gaming usefulness because I love their color/pattern combinations. OK, now I understand, impetigo (?). No matter how one spells itchy, no matter what the medical jargon to describe it, it's awful. And sleep-robbing. Quossum, I sent you a Bulbus even tho', from what I gather, many here have already answered your request . And, yes, the other thread is not exactly "hopping," as you said. Most fortunately you were still on my "Friend" list, my 1st friend in fact. At this point, with the bugs & problems with this version relating to friends, I'm not touching that list either to add or delete people. My case with IAPs was a bit different for I played a long time at a slow level so didn't need stamps OR potions. When I discovered TA & trading, I first bought the Express MB. After a while, just to support the devs, I got the Babyproofing but I rarely used it. When 16 potential habs came about, it was a godsend. Gotta go. Guest coming soon & staying the night. Picture this... I'm trudging out of the building after work, dragging tail because it's been a long, hard day. Haven't even had a second to glance at my phone all day, but I pull it out and give my frogs a desultory look. And there, with the pleasant *ding ding!* of an arriving gift, what do I see but a couple of handsome Bulbus waiting for me! Is it wrong that my step instantly lightened and I found myself actually grinning? Thank you guys so much; you made my day.
