Indeed very pretty screenshots . I like the ideas of sending/sharing with geographical proximity. The hard part with these games with a social bent is actually knowing anyone else that is likely to play! GPS stored with the frogs would be cool, and maybe some way of tracking where ones you send end up.
question: 7000 possible frogs. is that number counting various colors and stats (ex. a brown from that has 3 specific traits, and another brown frog that has 3 different traits)? would that be 2 of 7000? or will we be getting 7000 different designs/color variations(blue star, white frog; red star, black frog)? and if i mix parents, lets say one red, one blue, will i get a purple frog? this looks great. ill be there day one. also, thanks for being on the site eeenmachine. cool to see developers taking time to answer questions and share the games development.
As shown by this picture: The black w/ blue stripes frog is breeding with the yellow w/ brown pattern. The offspring can be any combination of black, blue, yellow, and brown, and the pattern can be striped or the other pattern.
Is it just me or do those bubbles look a little too opaque? If it's an intentional design choice to try and hide the details of the frog inside a bit then fair enough, otherwise I think it should be more transparent, maybe with a sharper light reflection on top.
We're also working hard to make sure it is both playable on the oldest hardware and gorgeous on the newest. It looks amazing on the iPhone 4 already!
