So sue me, people... I'm not slogging through the whole thread. Do I recall someone saying something at some point somewhere in the thread that the Assassin, well, doesn't work? Because, well, yeah, my assassin doesn't work. Oh, to anyone new to the game and reading this thread, USE YOUR FRIENDS. Wow, does that ever open up a whole new game... DBC
Longtime player first time poster Hey Andre, love the game... As for all the balancing issues, I think the best thing that you could do is give the player the ability to sell back their equipment for half price... The gem cost for rings is currently ridiculous. It costs more and more for a benefit of 1000 hp, but if you could trade in your current ring to lower the cost, it would be much more reasonable. My second balance issue is the effectiveness of skills. They should be scaled to your stats. I was very upset with how weak the grand cross attack was... especially with respect to the lucifer battle. It would have been cool if that particular spell dealt him extra "holy" damage. Scaling skills to your stats also makes logical sense... ie a healing spell cast by an experienced level69 warrior should be stronger than that of a level5 newbie... They shouldn't both just give you 100hp back or whatever. I'd recommend the healing return 1/3 of your hp, and the attack skills do double, triple, five times, whatever Andre thinks, depending on the cost of the skill. The defense skill should double or triple your block stats for a time. My only other complaint is how much the characters blink... Their world must be dusty!
And I hope that you will be happy, too while playing our game. And don't worry to take us know you feedbacks, I'm happy when receiving feedbacks from you.
@Tommyfiendo: Thanks a lot for your feedback. We will re-balance them again in next version. And I don't understand much about "My only other complaint is how much the characters blink... Their world must be dusty!". Can you explain more about it?
Blinks Just joking Andre! It's just funny inside the castle watching 29 units blinking in unison every half second... I try to match their rhythm
Nah, you know me. I know you guys are working hard. Just wanted to be sure it was something that was actually happening. DBC
Heya guys: still figuring out some of the finer points of this game, but I've seen a few players running around with gear that doesn't appear to be in the store. I know about the quests relating to the Heaven gear, Abaddon's sword/shield and Lucifer's sword, but can anyone tell me about the Pirate Armor I've seen floating around here and there? I can't see it in the quest list yet (I remember seeing the quests for Abaddon and Lucifer several levels before they were unlocked). Thanks!
Hi friend, The Pirate event is closed now, so you can not receive it again. It means that you can not have Pirate armor and weapon.
Ahh, right, thanks for that info Andre. Guess I should start eyeing what sorts of armour I want to wear afterall Another question, if you don't mind: I've seen a couple of people with female characters rather than the usual male one. Is there a specific option for that, or is that tied to certain armours?
Andre, Why not add it back in a future update as a purchasable armor but for gems only? That way people who missed out on the event can still get it if they like it. Just a thought. I doubt many people would buy it but those who want it would have the option. You pick male or female character when you start the game (the first time you play). It has nothing to do with the armor itself.
Anyone have any tips on how to dodge Lucifer's attacks? He attacks to fast to move like one would do against Abbadom (not spelled right). I am lvl 69 and the five friends I use are lvl 69, 65, 60, 58, and 41. GC: wareagledude
Because we created them for events, so we didn't think about selling it. It's our fault. Don't worry, my friend. We consider to add an item which used to changed gender of character. And I hope that we can do it and you will like this idea.
Here is my old strategy. I've evolved it a little bit since then but this is the basics. With this it's fairly straight forward to do it solo with no friends. http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=2443200&postcount=450 Really you just need to stay as close to him as possible and get good at dodging to his other side when he starts to swing. It takes good reactions but is not too bad. Friends help too obviously although I don't use em. No worries. Just thought it might be a nice touch. The people who did the event still got it for free so it's not like they got a bad deal. So many smilies.... Anyway this is a good idea. I would not use it myself but it's a simple thing that some would enjoy.
Save Santa I wondered if someone could help me out here, once you've completed the quest to save Santa how do you then access his helpers army? I was congratulated on saving Christmas, but don't have the option of elves in the barracks. Am pretty new to the game so is it a level thing?
Had the same question myself, till I realised that they ARE in your barracks. To see them, you need to tap one of the squares where you can place a unit, and then scroll all the way to the right: the gnomes are right after the pirates.
Hi I just found out that Lucky potion used to cost only 30 gems and it increased to 50 gems. May I know why? And will there be any further rebalancing on the price of it? And the price of the rings are crazily expensive. Cheers
