I think the HP seeds have kind of mooted the rings. I had a 1k gems ring when the latest update hit. Doing the math the hp-per-gem return on the seeds is better than ever upgrading my ring. There should be some kind of way to exchange a ring back into gems or get a credit on the amount spent on an earlier ring to later rings. Take the second most expensive ring for example: You're get just over 2.5hp/gem if you buy that ring. Which is certainly better than the 2hp/gem for the seeds. The problem, though, is if you've already bought a ring it reduces the actual hp/gem that you're getting off the ring. I had the Royal Poison Ring which gives 5100 hp for just over 1k gems (don't have the exact number). If I buy the second most expensive ring I'm only getting 5000 more hp for the 4013 gems. That's roughly than 1.25 hp/gem. For that 4013 gems I can get 8000hp worth of HP seeds. And the HP seeds stick with me forever regardless of any other purchase I make. Maybe reduce the price of each ring that comes later by the amount of whatever rings you've purchased? Because honestly I don't see any reason ever to save up for a better ring when I can just dump the gems into HP seeds. The problem extends to the atk and block seeds as well, why would you buy a gem shield or weapon when the increase in block or atk versus the gold-bought weapon/shield is so low. Take the Royal Dragon Sword. For 2874 gems you get 112 more atk than the regular dragon sword. For one gem more (2875 gems so that you can buy an even number of seeds) you can get 2300 more atk in seeds. And don't forget that the 2300atk from the seeds won't be made obsolete when the game gets updated and new weapons are added.
Hi to Everyone, Thanks Pezmage, Andre, Champion64 for helping out. Yeah I caught on to the seed bit being better than the rings a couple of weeks ago and have been grinding away at the seeds. You know...calculating how many gems per thousand hp/atk/def points, squeaking the thumbs away...greed is good. And i got lucifer's katana after the character stats beefed up. I even encountered some guys at level 38 and another in the 40's that wiped out my level 59, seed beefed up stats and with lucifer's katana in hand in like 2 or three blows. Haha...you are a better seed collector than me. To Andre and your collegial developers, you mentioned that level 59 was the highest but I've seen a couple of players at level 60's. Are they early testers or is there some other version out there? Well, I just ended the last campaign, #150, and am definitely interested in what comes next. It's just the grind that chores up on you. Maybe if the obtaining of gems or whatever other currency or object is needed was more intricately tied into the adventure so it felt more like you were moving along with the game rather than doing chores over and over and over again. Don't get the wrong message though, I realy like the game. Just want more adventure time, less grinding time. (Greed is good. Lol.) Kudos to you guys on your game. Looking forward to the next phase. Cam on (sorry, don't know how to put the markings on the vietnamese thanks.) Btw: does anybody want another friend. I'm Mr.Quixote. (man, that sounded desperate. Lol. )
@4Jaydin: Thanks for your interesting with our game. And if you see some character with level more than 59 in this version, it means that they have hacked the game and they will be punished soon.
Quick One Oh, Does anyone know what the green line and red line stand for when your taking a hit. Its appears relatively obvious but is green your hp and red def? Or is it just one stat with a pretty green/red light show displaying as you take hits? Thanks.
Does anyone know the stats of the fully upgraded monks? For about a week now I've been trying to upgrade my monks, it takes my money, tells me it's going to take 48 hours, and then when I check back later the game acts like I never told it to upgrade. I'm thinking there might be a bug and they're already fully upgraded?
I did that, and works initially but it doesn't seem to stay in sync. When I play on the iPhone, the iPad doesn't seem to get the updates. I tried restarting the app. Uninstalling and reinstalling does seen to help though.
Regarding seeds... I understand why you added them and think it's a neat idea... but in reality I think they are bad for the game. They will make it much harder to balance future updates (since the upgrades will likely be inferior to seeds as price increases as others noted) and it makes for unbalanced game conditions between players. I could fight a lower level person with a worse weapon only to get rocked if they went crazy on seeds. Fixes: 1) Make seeds a temporary boost (similar to XP potion) but cost quite a bit less. 2) Make seed costs increase for each one purchased. So the first HP seed costs 25 gems... the next 27... the next 29... etc. Eventually things will reach and equilibrium with this approach and make gear upgrades relevant again. Of course the problem with either of the above fixes is people already have seeds... so if you make a change they either get a permanent advantage over others or you have to reset the seeds (which would make people angry unless you refund them the gem costs for all seeds purchased). I think the second option is best with seeds being reset and people receiving refund on the gems used for them. Just my two cents. Also again I'll ask for the level caps to go away... I've been slaying lucifer and abaddon twice a day (with the XP potion) since the update hit and I'm still not to level 49.... (was at 45 when update hit) It's much better now that I have the XP potion and 2 guys to kill twice a day but it is still taking forever.... It really kills the sense of progression.
@Eflin: Thanks for your idea. We have just done it in next version, which will be released next week.
I totally agree with your opinion. Let's see how we manage to fix it in the update. We're working hard on that, and the update will be surely awesome! Antony
Yeah I know. My comments had to do with the level caps to play stages not on the max level cap. Refer to my previous posts on removing the level caps for more explanation but basically to sum it up the level caps are very restrictive and limiting the amount I can play. Every time I hit a level increment of 5 (40,45,50) I finally get to play some new stages but then I quickly clear them and am stuck having to level 5 more levels before I can play more. It's kind of silly too since if I can handle the harder levels why stop me from trying them? It's an odd design choice in my opinion is all. Again this is about the caps to play certain stages... not the max level cap. That cap makes perfect sense. My comment in the post you quoted was just trying to provide an example of this by saying I can't progress and do more stages until I hit level 50... and I've been grinding every day for quite a while and not progressed from level 45 to even level 49. I just hit 49 yesterday though so I'm getting there! A couple more days of killing Abaddon and Lucifer should do it!
