Its not specifically for Star Defense... To answer your question, a rep. has stated that it is undetermined if and when the service will be implemented into ngmoco's older games. What I am more curious about is how far it will spread beyond ngmoco. Other developers are bound to become interested in implementing the service into their personal games. Personally, I feel that the only way for Plus+ to be a success is if ngmoco licenses the service to a fair amount of other companies with games appealing to a wide range of audiences.
By the way, can the Mods please lock this before it becomes yet another spamming thread for the same cause?...
The thread isn't exactly "spam", but there are tons of other threads where your comment could have gone (or is already answered). People posting their usernames in more than one place... thats spam.
I'd love to see the plus+ system spread but I don't think it will. Ngmoco really needs to price this system effectively in order to make it an option for new developers and I don't think they are willing to do that. OpenFeint 2.0 looks really good and already has a core of high profile games backing it as they already have 1.0 in them. If the new OpenFeint has a profile page/ gamerscore like total I think it will be the one to watch out for.
first of all i think open feint is awful. Second plus+ will spread because all of the devs will want to be a part of this new system
AGON is used in Atoms. I love it, it's just as good as Plus+. Wrong area. ZIIINCOOOOUS!!! EDIT: *looks at stopwatch* 30 seconds! You're rusty =P
wait until you use 2.0 before you say its awful. 1.0 kinda sucks, but 2.0 is complete redesign and functionality, give it a shot before you say it sucks
Have you seen OpenFeint 2.0? It's completely different from the the first one. The Plus+ system is good but I don't think devs are going to be willing to pay the cost of entry. Just cause we like the system doesn't mean that a dev can afford to put it in. That's why I'd rather wait to see how OF 2.0 works out. If the new OF is awesome then that means the cost of Plus+ drops so that it can compete with it. If the price stays the same then OF becomes the cheaper alternative and the devs will flock to it. It all benefits us in the end VeganTnT on both systems btw
