Well, the t47 has three guns on one side, so you have to maneuver. I generally just circle around enemies counter-clockwise along the outside of the zone. I try and equip weapons with about 1000 range. Other ships will require other tactics. I wouldn't mind trying out a more drone-centric boat. I am very far from having enough decent turrets for the gold battleship, so I am looking for a hybrid or drone vessel.
It depends what planet you are facing. For regular planets, I stick on missile turrets and beam turrets. Massive damage and hold back fighters. For bosses, I stick on torpedoes.
Throwing the Arc Annihilator in a forge will not produce the same turret, since there is only one arc turret (that I know of) Besides, it is very useful and it would be stupid to remove it to get some uncommon beam turret.
Q Well i used the t47. I followed it with the tunguska which is a beast in my opinion. Inlater saved on for the ion wolf it is cool but i still prefer and use my tunguska. One thing i regret about me purchasing the ion wolf is that i would have preferred to get the kecksburg and the b14 sapphire. I dont know if the turrets on the sapphire are 360 but i believe they should be if that is the case the b14 should definetly be preferred to the ion worlf, because i never find the squadrons able to pull the job Think carefully before commiting to a gold ship. When you are grinding to level up later on you will wish you have some variety with the ships 2500 AM can get you one ship or 2 to 3 others
Tunguska and Keck seem a good combo. A fast ship might be a welcome change from the whale-like T47. I've got some leveling and crafting to do before I upgrade so I'm in no rush. I'm going to try and finish the game with the trusty '47.
One extra tip i can give you, if u have some crafting and leveling, first do the crafting as it will take less time to up the rarity of the items later on you can forge multiple rares at a higher level to get a usable gun and maybe even upgrade to epic.
I have only the last boss left. I'm using the sapphire while my level 19 T47 cooks in the forge. The turret configuration is somewhat annoying, as spinning around leaves me vulnerable. I too am thinking about getting an ion wolf and upgrading it to legendary. In the mean time, I'm working on turrets and gold farming. When I can, I concentrate on torpedoes and beams/lasers.
Wow. Great forges. I might stop forging for a while though. I'm sick of forging and getting really poor results. Recently I forged 3 rare beam turrets and the result was a rare beam turret. I don't get it. Seems like the forge is broken again. Also, why should I bother forging 3 rare beam turrets that all have 5300 DPS and 1300 range only to get back 1 single epic beam turret that has marginally better DPS and range plus some very minor bonus like +2% chance to find tech mods and +2% chance to find loot? What's better? 3x beam turrets at 5300 DPS or 1 beam turret with 6000 DPS? Hmmm. 15,900 total DPS or 6,000 DPS? The bonus percentages are so small it doesn't even seem to matter. What's the point?
You got me right in the feels, bruh... I've tried to devise a fool-proof way of forging at least epic level weapons on a regular basis but what I'm looking for doesn't seem to exist... It all hinges on a great amount of luck, which I have not had, ever... Okay, maybe once, and it was a legendary missile turret at level 22, but nothing good's come my way since then. I forged 3 rare beam turrets and ended up with a beam turret of the exact same level but with lower dps and lower range than any of three turrets I threw into the forge. Seems like the only way to avoid being screwed is to only forge common items together and maybe occasionally throw in the uncommon level items forge...
Ugh. There was part of me where I hoped people would reply and say that I'm crazy or I'm doing it all wrong. Unfortunately it sounds like I'm not the only one. I use the Tunguska which has no fighters. I have a ton of fighters in my inventory though so I forged 3 rare fighters that were exactly the same. It cost something like 90k in coins so I thought it would yield a good result. After 13 hours I opened my crate and it was an uncommon fighter with 4252 DPS. http://www.sadtrombone.com/ I might go down the path of only forging common items. Quite honestly though, for the marginal increase in stats I'm not sure if forging is even worth it. I've been through all of the galaxies for weeks and I'm at the max level of 23. I'm reaching a point where I might not even pick this game up again until there are some updates or delete it entirely.
