Seriously? It's a good game. Don't pass it up. Backflip studios are a decent company and they need to make money somehow. You should at least try it out
This game is really great, I just wish that this would be a premium game, so we all could get rid of these annoying timers.
Really enjoying this game and pleasantly surprised by how much time I've put into it today. Timers are slightly annoying but I can wait for them to expire.
Really awesome game. Ive been waiting for a game with this kind of fight mechanics for a while. The graphics remind me a bit the Homeworld 2 PC strategy, with a little hint of cartoon style. Tutorial is just superbe. Overall this looks like a quality game. I hope this game gets updates and gets a PVP feauture.
A question for those who played the aft launch: When I upgrade epic/legendary weapons or fighters (the great one in the first spot, two of similar design in box two and three) do they stay epic or legendary or is it possible that they turn out to be of higher level but fall back to uncommon quality?
The surprise of the week for me. First sector cleared and loving it so far. As far as the IAP's go; I wish there was some kind of loot doubler and/or a permanent reactor boost. Those are my kind of purchases. Value baby!
I've had PlunderNauts since it was soft launched. I played around with it a couple of times then tucked it away in a folder for later play. I figured that I'd give it a serious try now that it's been released worldwide. I can honestly say this game is top notch. I wish I would have given it a go earlier. The only drawback I've seen is that the game isn't premium. I am not usually a big fan of this genre of games (probably explaining why I didn't give it a fair shot at first), but PlunderNauts has me hooked
I'll add my voice to the chorus of support. Really enjoying this, timers are annoying but ho hum, still only on the first sector (around level 4) and it has all of a sudden got pretty hard pretty quick!
As mentioned, biggest drawback is the freemium model. The art, gameplay and hook are all strong enough to demand premium price tag. Hate to see such a clever game miss attention deserved because they geared the IAP's to tight.
This is a quality game and fix my urge for space war games. Playing this everyday and it's so fun download now!
If only this game had the Terran Battlecruiser from SC2 as a usable ship, then this would be an amazing game for me. I'm still in the first sector, but I've been playing conservatively (Already on the Von Spinne dude), though my best listed ship in the shop still is the Battleship Omega. To those who got to the Bat Galaxy sector (and quite possibly beyond), are there other ship types?
Oh cool another awesome looking game that I'll never play due to it being freemium. #### everything about this business model.
Been enjoying this so far. The energy system is annoying but the game gives you plenty of premium currency so it's not too bad. I've found the combat to be more fun and strategic than it appears at first glance. It seems like upgrading your forge is pretty important, can anyone confirm? Is it worth the antimatter?
The timers get really ridiculous on higher levels, I had to wait 7 hours for a level 7 ship update, 4 hours for repair modules, etc. And I can confirm the really high battery drain on my good old iPad2.
