No, timer seem to be level based. Using the Ion Wolf. Liked it since begning and extolled its virtues since start, althou my next ship will be shadow force or nova carrier. The novas hp at late levels are enormous.

Did they lower the time it takes to upgrade a ship? Last night I started an upgrade for my t47 and it said it would take 5days. I woke up this morning and it said 8hrs left.
Does anyone have the crew member that gives +30% dmg and range to fighters/bombers? I was thinking about picking him up for ion wolf

Updating my Proto Widow to level 23 using overhaul bot. It's going to take 2 days 4 hours. I guess under the old timer, it would have taken 15 days.
How do you upgrade ship to rare or legendary status? I'm a level 10 captain still muddling along in my level 4 starship. Getting harder now for sure though. I have right around 2,100 antimatter but it's getting harder to save for the ion wolf..... Arrrr, this captain needs him a new ship he does!
same as the turrets more o less just luck, you will like the ion wolf very good ship, but tbh i suggest you buy polaris first to get you till level 15-16 as buyin ion so early will cost you an arm and a leg later on
Go to the shipyard --> starships --> click on your ship and it's listed at the bottom of the stats. Anytime you upgrade your ship's level in the forge, it has a chance of becoming a higher rarity. The more times you upgrade, the more likely you are to obtain rare or legendary status. Also, if you forge three ships together, you'll get a random ship, which I believe is guaranteed to be at least uncommon (like turrets).
What is with the massive EXP Void level 19>23? Already running around 40% EXP bonus on my ship during Crate runs
The last galaxy I felt wasn't designed very well. The level range from 16 - 23 for one map seems like an arbitrary wall to slow down gameplay.
I'm not sure that level 23 will actually be required to progress when new galaxies are opened, that's just the cap right now (though I guess it might be since each wormhole so far has had a min level req). This spread may just be because they don't have much content released right now. I think the level cap at 23 is useful to keep new galaxies challenging and provide a jumping off point for multiplayer without an extreme disparity in levels... just a theory though.
cant wait for multilayer or new galaxy's. will be interesting to see if it will be 1v1 or if we get teams...(2v2,3v3) would be awesome
There is no crew that increases damage for all turrets, only specific turrets and the crew who increases damage for fighters/bombers is called Jean Luc De Baron. He's got a spiffy red scarf. What is strange is that Beam is the only turret that doesn't have a crew. Even stranger is that Patrica Collider used to increase dmg to both Lasers AND Beams, now she only increases Lasers. I wonder if that means they are going to introduce a new crew member for Beams or if they felt Beams were already OP?
Good catch, I also noticed my beams have started to miss and visibly soo. Not sure if thats just my imagination.
