Right again. Ship + ship doesn't work for me either. It's ship + ship + ship = new random ship.

That throws a wrench into my plans as I am about to blow all my antimatter on my 3rd forge slot.

What's the highest level ship one can forge from combining three ships together ? Is it possible to forge one of the golden ships?

So my big concern was I didn't want to buy ion wolf and not be able to hit end game max level with it. But I'm hearing that there's a recipe to increase the level cap? Is this true? Thanks in advance.

I also received a message from the game that said multiplayer is coming. Should've taken a screen cap I guess, but I think they send the same message to all new players. Unless the developers abandon their game, which does happens sometimes, there WILL be more content in the future. Hope they don't make us wait too long.

Yes it tells you so if you click on info when viewing a ship. Increase level cap = ship -+ overhaul bot + big spare parts. Just keep in my mind that the overhaul bit is really expensive. Iirc it cost 100,000 at first, now at level 10 it costs 150k.

Anyone got the Arc Panel or whatever its called? I have 11 Arc Shards and i already made an Annihalator (awesome beam btw) but after getting 11 I don't have the next material, any help?

Also, is there a ship better than the Carnage Weaver? Right now I'm using 2 beams and a laser with Shield, HP kit, HW beam cooldown and HW beam dmg.

Arc shards are a common and frequent drop. I completed the quest in about two days of constant playing. Just keep beating planets and you will get it eventually. Just hold on to the parts until you are higher level before forging them to get the most out of them.

Do you have 11 shards total, or 11 since getting the Arc Targeting Module (which is forged into the turret)? You need 5 shards to get the Arc Targeting Module, then an additional 10 shards (so 15 total) to get the Arc Tactical Panel. You can see your progress in the bounties list.

Personally, I love the Tunguska and have found it difficult to adjust to how slow other ships feel after playing with that one pretty consistently for awhile.

Thank you but I'm currently level 13 and never seen the overhaul bot. Does it appear in the store?

You can purchase it from the ingredient list on your ship's info screen. I have heard that people have forged them too, but haven't found a recipe.

What do you mean about AI?

I switched over to Tunguska because of the speed and that it means no longer relying on the fighter/bombers to be smart. I find that it's much more proactive than other ships, which makes it more fun for me -- you can do major damage with hit and runs, and can outrun any missile/torpedos. You can better control the strategy because you're actually doing the damage yourself, rather than sitting back and waiting for fighters to do it. Legendary Tunguska + beams/arc beams + beam boosts and a shield for tech mods and I was killing it. I'm trying out the Ubatuba right now, but so far I don't think the more guns really makes up for the speed differential. Definitely a different style of play. YMMV depending on your preferred style of play.

Oh I was thinking of the Kecksburg.

Yeah I'll try out the Tunguska right now.

You should try missiles with the Tunguska. You can get into range really quick, then dart away for a few seconds until you're ready to fire again. With a couple of hardwired missile charges your damage output will be very high. I like beams, but missiles do the damage instantly. Also, you can take out any fighters pestering you.

For beam weapons, I prefer the Proto Widow. But for missiles, the Tunguska is a beast.

I'm level 13 and am about to buy the Sapphire 8-14 and the crew member Jean Luc de Baron.

Do you guys think these are good investments?

I'm leaning towards the Sapphire because it has 3 turret slots.

I just got Jean Luc, now I just need a little more antimatter to get the Sapphire, then I'm saving up for a new forge slot.

I believe the Ion Wolf's turrets are 360 degrees, whereas the Sapphire's are not... I'd think two 360 degree turrets would trump three limited direction turrets, but I haven't used either so I'm not the expert.

Quite a bit of posts in forum here on ships. The sapphire not so much, just much better ships, carnage weaver T47 Tunguska, Ion Wolf.
