I wonder what the hold-up is... I'm checking the forums and the iTunes store every day for this game. I can't wait to give this one a try ! I love the looks of the game, and the gameplay is gonna be different - it seems a lot of the new games coming out are just variations on the same old thing. This game is gonna be cool!
Lol thanks! I do enjoy titles like this though, something with a little bit of interactive adventure, but where I don't have to be drawn into a deep engrossing rpg (sorry my console rpg days are behind me no time really) . The humor adds a nice touch, here's to hoping you can purchase small islands or docks in future updates . . .
Thanks Its really rewarding knowing people see the game how we do I think the game hits a good balance between depth, meaning, adventure and it still can be a very casual experience. Every time you play you are working towards building up your crew and working your way through a fun adventure but it loads in a few seconds and suits a few minutes play here and there as well as hours of fun. Yah I hear you. I removed my card from my iTunes account and now it forces me to really really want a game to go through the hassle. And yes I know I have issues, but hey it works for me. It also keeps me from buying a lot of poor apps.
Video pirates (the legal kind ) Still waiting for the game - I had to watch my favorite pirate movie to help the wait: "The Spanish Main" with Paul Heinreid as the Barracuda (Now, that's a cool pirate nickname), Maureen O'Hara as the haughty love interest, and Walter Slezak as the real villain of the piece. Any other favorite pirate movies out there ? Any thoughts on the best pirate movie of them all?
