Cant promise anything at this stage but there might be some good news in this regard...if we can pull it off. Since the game is doing well we want to reward everyone who supports us.

Will confirm once we get it working. Stay in touch with @jtsgames if you have twitter

Well there's a sort of misunderstanding, if it hasn't been planned with the initial port, I can understand the added coast can't be justified by the small market share of the ipad particularly for a market dominated by the iphone with a very low price tendency and even more with many ipad users that will already buy the iphone version and won't bother get the ipad one if it isn't free through universal.

My wish was more for a lite version, it's very perfect to know how well it will works on an ipad and the doubled can work amazing well.

If that is the case it probably would have been better to allow this to work on the iPad from the start. I can't be the only iPad owner that would have purchased this right away and just played in 2x mode.

If you could make some ipad owner comment on the ipad gameplay that would be helpful, that includes how good are the controls, if they suit the ipad or can be customized to suit it better and how are the graphics doubled and the texts doubled.

I dont understand what you mean exactly, whats wrong? The update submitted already that is going through approval will allow 2x play on iPad and run on all devices.

As for native iPad its something we aim to support as soon as possible.

Sorry for not supporting everything out of the gate but we are a tiny team and couldn't spend any more time on development without a release to support it. But now the updates are coming and one is already done

Also I like the idea of having a trial or lite version to get a taste of the app. Maybe with a tutorial, one mission, one survival level? This way people on the edge can try it out and buy it because they love it! ;)

I only say this because I am one of these individuals, I won't buy unless I know I'll like it. Though I've followed Plunderland on TA and on their site and knew I would enjoy the app so this was an esay decision... once I had enough to buy it that is! :D

It doesn't work on the iPad yet. I will buy it as soon as it does and will comment then.

An ipad version is pointless now that the iphone 4 is out, most developers have started to just concentrate on the iphone and ipod touch devices excluding the ipad version (just using the 2x mode instead), this has already started to happen, I would expect less and less ipad enhanced games to come out from now on according to what a lot of the major developers are saying.

The profit on making ipad games versus iphone 2g, 3g, 3gs, iphone 4, ipod touch doesn't compare, this is why the ipad gaming scene has taking a turn for the worse since the iphone 4 released, sorry to be blunt but its very true.

You couldn't be more off. Did you not see the reports that a high number ipads are being used as gaming machines? Once apple can keep them in stock developers will see a huge push, however right now the market is small but seeing how textures can be almost the same between the iPad and retina I imagine we will start seeing more and more iPad games. However the iPad will only get more and more popular and the 2x is not a good solution. You can disagree all you want but by Christmas the iPad market is gonna be huge.

Your view is different to the majority of developers publishers and users out there, but anyway, we will see, gaming is already declining on ipad and it will only get worse, don't just take my word for it, google it and see the latest sales data lol. :D

We have always intended to support the iPad, we made sure we had the graphics for it and when the iphone 4 hit we could support the high res screen instantly. It makes it easier for us to support both since they have similar res. Only thing is you have to remake the menus for the iPad and tweak controls etc.

We want to be on every device so people can enjoy the game how they want to.

The 3.x support update is being approved by Apple now and it shouldnt take long. Already at work on the next update.

Thanks for the kind words too!

    Woo its hit! :)

Finishing up another update today to make the camera and controls even better still. Now when things get hectic in survival mode the camera will listen to where you aim and adjust the camera based on who you want to engage.

    Works really well.

Let us know if you get it running on your 3.x device. We have tested on 3.2 iPads with it running perfectly. Appreciate any feedback.

Had a bit of a problem. After I finished "Before the Storm" mission and pressed "next" all I got was black screen (like the one before the mission starts). Game just froze on that screen. I couldn't restart the game because of multitasking. Every time I came back to black screen, so I had to restart my ipod touch. Its the first time I had a problem like that.
