We are all about high quality, iPhone 4 users wont notice a thing. Except maybe more friends are playing the game
Thanks for supporting the older OS, though i think it's only a matter of time before the oldest iDevices are left out. Roll on September and updated Ipod Touches with Retina
I hope there will be multiple winners, because I would love to win a copy of this, and I'm broke... Stupid gas money = me being broke
Game Impressions Heres a few reviews for those on the fence IGN "Plunderland is absolutely worth your download dollars and is one of the best iPhone games of 2010 thus far" 8.9/10 GREAT http://uk.wireless.ign.com/articles/110/1108823p1.html APPSMILE "this 5-Dimple game is an absolute must for anyone who’s ever enjoyed playing games." 5/5 http://www.appsmile.com/2010/07/27/plunderland-live-the-life-of-a-pirate/
Great game guys! Finally something different on the app store. Very creative! I can't find the cod piece on level 3-3. Any help????? Also everytime I try to replay level 3-3 the game freezes to a black screen. Have to power off my device to get the game working again. Bit annoying but otherwise good job! Please tell me where cod piece in 3-3 can be found
Shoot the last boat in level until it breaks in half. Has anyone found the final cod piece yet? Still can't find it :/
Update fixes Thanks The problem with the black screen is because of multitasking and at some point on your phone there is a low memory warning and the iphone os automatically dissembles all the view controllers (the things we use to show menus and screens etc) so it breaks the game. We have fixed this in an update so now it doesnt do the black screen and are trying to get rid of all impact of this bug. It will be fixed in the next update which Hopefully will be submitted today, also giving 3.0+ support so the game will run on ALL iDevices. Thanks for your patience. The last Cod Piece seems to not work but we have it fixed in this new update too. Soon you can "catch them all"
Yeah I can't find the last cod piece. Have them all other than that, did anyone think that the sea monster was too easy to kill? I killed it with about 4 shots, and on my first try.
Congrats on all the great reviews, I dropped a 5 star for you guys too. The game is one I find myself going to everyday. A lot of fun.
I'm curious as to what your going to do about the controls. Only things I don't personally like is the constant changing of the camera angle (add an option to lock it in place at a medium distance from the boat) and the fact that you can't shoot when other pirates are on your boat, but its only because of the camera angle that it makes it hard to see them and get them off.
"Plunderland 1.0.1 update has JUST been submitted to Apple" http://twitter.com/jtsgames/status/19780625394 what's in the update: "For the list-o-phobes, look away now: * Updated the cannon controls, now it's a lot easier to grab when the camera zooms out and also, context sensitive around certain areas. * The pause menu now shows you how much gold you've made so far in the current level and lets you toggle the audio on and off. * We tweaked the price of items in the shipyard and let you start off with a couple more items unlocked. * The crows nest works properly on 'Sheffield' ship. * The survival mode is now unlocked by default so you can jump right into the mayhem without having to play through all 3 campaigns. Each survival mode unlocks as you beat the previous difficulty. * The credits screen now works too, most of you probably haven't got there yet but it's pretty cool. The music was performed especially by Josh. * We've tweaked some of the expert scores too, some were nearly impossible. * You'll be glad to know that the evasive final cod-piece on the serpent level can now be found! It was probably in a cloud before, outrageous. Even I couldn't find it. * Performance tweaks, including much better handling of low-memory situations -- this effectively completely gets rid of the "black screen" bug people have been reporting. It's all gooooood now. * And the biggest of all? Full support for OS3.0 and upwards, we know not all of you have iOS4.0 and it wasn't even intended but we re-wrote ALL the menus so you could get into this. That means it will also run on iPads (in the iPhone simulation mode) If that's not proof that we listen, I don't know what is. A lot of you have been asking for an iPad specific version, more news on that soon and also, we know a lot of you are asking for more levels. We will be bringing some FREE new campaigns to Plunderland and a ton of other awesome stuff." via http://www.johnnytwoshoes.com/blog/permalink/267
