AI just wish the flash version this game was originally based on would be ported to iPhone... for 99¢ or free. If it was free it would make Plunderland sell more copies
I am willing to dish out the cash now that I can afford the app, but I would like to ask the developers a question. The new content that will be produced, about how much will each update add. A few levels and itens such as 5 or 10, or will it be 20 or so items/levels/misc.? I understand your point of view on profit and agree, I would just like a little more insight into this. Also as an idea for DLC I was thinking about would be similar to Pocket God. Where the item would have a different look, and if it works/sells well it may be another option for a profit. An idea I was thinking would be ninjas? And I like the idea of an endless/survival mode (why not random rather than same layouot but with enemies getting harder as you progress?). awaiting a reply!
Updates explained We will be adding lots of different kinds of updates I think. More campaigns, game modes and upgrades. We have one idea we are working on which will extend the gameplay time greatly and be completely fresh. We are really proud of how the game is now and are really excited for it's potential. So many ideas to try. Will go into more detail on new content after the fixing and tweaking update is out. Thanks for your feedback
Probably not for a while. You should just get it now, it's well worth it. Especially seeing as it will be updated with some free content. Who knows, maybe the price will go up?
I was wondering if anyone was working on a walk through for this game on all the secret cod pieces. It would be very helpful especially on those missions you just cant seem to find them. The game is great so far and im glad to see an active developer on the forums.
The Sea Monsters levels won't unlock for me either. I have both golds in every level except "Let Us Pass", where I can't find the collectable. Does anyone know where it is, I have every other one. By the way, love the game, congrats on making such an awesome game.
Guys did any of you know that Plunderland has a 8-bit mode!? Not telling you how to get it. It's a secret.
Yeah, I talked about it back a few pages (it's in the settings app). If you're on iOS4 then you have to remove Plunderland from your multitasking bar and then launch the app other wise it won't work. It's kinda cool, but pretty blurry. I don't know whether that's because of my iPhone 4's retina display or what. Does it look blurry on your iPod Touch?
Help and questions I have a question for everyone who has played Plunderland How do you think you pause the game? This seems to be the biggest complaint but Im wondering if people just dont know how to do it. To make it work just turn the game upside down and it will pause. Im working on the update now but because the game is so interactive having touch gestures to pull the pause menu in is a joke. Currently Im having it so you hold in a corner and it will pause for the update but im wondering if we could just communicate the old pause method better instead? Pausing's really not that hard. It would be worse if there was some type of on-screen control to do so.
i gave up trying to pause it, and just clicked the top of my phone to send it to sleep ! after several attempts trying to make it pause, my interest in this essential non part of the game faded completely oh and i thought i had understood what i had to do, it just didnt work
Create a Poll with whatever you can implement? I would really not like a pause button to be on the screen when I am playing it!
