I completed all of the levels in New Pirateers and The Empire but Sea Monsters will not unlock. In order for it to unlock do I have to get all gold medals and find the fish heads in all of the previous levels or should they unlock with gold medals without fish heads in some?
Sorry, what?!? Apart from one or two negative comments everyone has nothing but good things to say about this game, It's not too short at all, it will take you a while to complete all levels and get all upgrades and get all the secret fish heads, plus there is more content coming out later on, not sure how this game is more repetitive than any other game out there? The cannon is fine, I've had no issues with it. The only issues people seem to have is with the pause system, I find it to be fine but if that is the only fault people have that is impressive! The game really is a gem that only comes along once in a while, you owe it to yourself and to idevice gaming to buy it, this really is what idevice gaming is all about, unique experiences you just can't get anywhere else. In short..... BUY IT!
There are minimum points one has to earn to enter a stage (As it has been mentioned several times alread in this thread *yawns*)
Well the devs are active, but I'm still gonna wait for some more feedback. I can never be sure about games, people said Phoenix Wright was great but I didn't like it.
if you din't like it... it does not deteriorate the game's quality... it is just not ur type! I don't like doodle jump or pocket god or nfs shift or real racing.
It depends on your value of fun. The first Katamari, and Ico games didn't make headlines, but they became the biggest sleepers of the PS2 era, and are now being revered as art. This reference is somewhat of a stretch I guess, but in my opinion if you're looking for 20+ hours for $2.99, you probably won't find that. You will however get some of the best art, ui, tilt control, gameplay, and charm to date on the OS. And if you have any speck of love for anything Pirate related, you won't be disappointed.
Actually that wallpaper is kool as well thanks...but I was reffering to the one on the iPhone in the video before the game is launched....it's a white background with a mans head
Iffy? I could hardly disagree more. It is hard to master, indeed, but the controls are luverly, and very exact once you know what yer doing. It is very important to remember that controls that are hard to master are not the same as BAD controls. I did read a review where the reviewer found it annoying that it was so hard to aim during storms. Which made me wonder whatever happened to gamers that appreciate a challenge. Plunderland certainly has a bit of a difficulty curve, if you want to actually be GOOD at the game (which is not needed to play it), but I find that to be one of its biggest appeals.
Your right but most of us don't play a game because it looks pretty. The gameplay looks amazing for this game but people say it's short and that's what makes skeptical, paying 3 dollars for a game that will last me day doesn't seem like a good buy IMO. I thi k I will wait for a sale and then grab this one
I forgot to add gameplay in that, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. Everyone has their own view on games, which is probably why I never bought Doodle Jump, or any of the sports iphone games. Anyway I don't want to misrepresent this title, so I'll leave the pro reviews to those that are better writers, just thought I'd add my 2 cents.
It takes the devs 3 seconds to change the metadata to include ipad's It takes much longer for me to request a refund and go through that process I know what customer service level apple gives I am more interested in the customer service of the developers
It says in the first line of the description, that it doesn't support iPad, so quit your whining, Apple nor devs should have to baby you since you didn't check to see if it supported your device. And mind you, it's only $3.
I completed the game in a day and a half of casual play, including buying and unlocking everything. I don't regret buying it though, it was fun while it lasted. It could use a proper survival mode, ie an endless mode, for a little more longevity. Right now I have no reason to play it. Edit: the end of the game seems a little buggy. I completed the 3rd survival mode stage and pressed 'Next' to take me to the credits. At the end of the credits the 'Port' button wouldn't respond, only 'Rate' which exited the game. When I re-opened the game, it was stuck at the title screen with the crew playing soccer, only there were no buttons to press. Weird.
