Alright so in Canada the only payment option for the App Store is credit card. I have a couple credit cards and I have no problem using them with the account however, I would much rather be able to use gift cards like you can in the US this way I can say buy a $50 gift card or the month or two and be limited to that $50 so I think I'm going to create a US iTunes account and just get the gift cards from the US. I'm only about 1 hour from the US boarder so we go there all the time and on top of that I have family there that I talk to regularly, if I really wanted to I'm sure I could transfer the cash to them to buy me a gift card then give me the code over the phone or in an email. I have no problem creating this account but my one question is how is sales tax determined? I know for my Canadian account they calculate sales tax on my purchases so if I create an iTunes account in a US State that has non state sales tax will my purchases with the gift card be tax free? Thanks for any help.
