I'd just like to give a big F**K YOU to Gameloft for selling a shoddy product that simply DOES NOT WORK. I havent been able to play Gangstar: MV since I purchased it a few months ago - Who here really thinks that is acceptable? It is not unreasonable as a consumer to be upset with a company that sells faulty merchandise.. Certainly cussing on a forum isn't going to solve anything but seriously the delay with this update is beyond a joke.
I believe SkyMuffin is right here. These things take time. And Gameloft could care less that someone gets impatient in terms of how fast they patch/update a game. S'pose everyone's got the right to complain, but in this case the guy's just blowing smoke. Plus, personally, I like Gameloft's games, so I wouldn't participate in a boycott. Even if they never DID fix the game, as mad as they might be, the thing to do perhaps is try to press Apple for a refund and they might give in to that-----or not!
My game works perfectly, kthx. Gameloft cares about making money like every big corporation should. They're pushing for their new releases later this year and working on updates for Order & Chaos. Don't you remember they're releasing two games using Unreal Engine this by the end of 2011? They have better things to do. How much did you get the game for anyways, a dollar just like the OP? Just go play something else. Gameloft doesn't care about individual customer complaints and really don't need to. There's a sizable customer base that'll buy their releases no matter what already.

Yes, it's called making money. Gameloft has never been too good at customer service updating their games consistently, and that's well-known, especially around TA. And like I said, it works perfectly fine on my device. I don't think it'd have a 3.5 star rating on the brutal place of iTunes reviews if it didn't work for everyone. Looking at the ratings and reviews, I'd say it works for the majority of us. So yeah, until the game has a two star rating, I'd say they have plenty of better things to do.
The game does work. Just not on iOS 4.3.x. You know what? BLAME APPLE. (and read on before hating this size 7 text^^) They changed the firmware so that some of the games out there don't run anymore.
I could do that! Thanks for the perspective. Though I do remember reading (from what I remember) an offical response posted on some other forum stating that an update was incoming, but that was close to two months ago I think.
I +1 this.. Also, I suggest we boycott this thread as it is not addressing a game related issue more than it is addressing someone being banned from the gameloft forums. The topic of whether the game should get a patch should be discussed in the game's thread.
So I should just be happy that I wasted my money buying a game? I honestly don't care if it works on your device or not, but I know that for the majority of people with iOS 4.3, the game constantly crashes after just minutes of playing and regardless of company that is not acceptable.
No, pretty sure my family and I have always been to the far left. You just need to grow up. Not saying it's right, but Gameloft doesn't need to care. They already have your money.
