So i sould use ordinary Bows?? Got sick of daggers as the dmg of them was low compared to the 2handed weapons And yeah stopped upping dexterity an putting more points into strength lol, what to do??
There's nothing ordinary about the bows, they are easily the best ranged weapon in the game, crossbows may have a bit more damage but are too slow and clumsy. The Rogue is so fast you can play the entire game with just hit and run tactics, assuming the enemy will still be alive when it gets to you (in later levels, it won't). Also don't forget that with the very high hit output of daggers and bows the percentage-based effects such as Stun / Knock Back / Slow are very frequently applied. The Fire Damage is the best in the game IMO, nearly broken (my Red lvl 75 bow has 300 damage over 3 secs !). A bow with Fire Damage is a beast in this game. Maybe you simply haven't found good daggers and bows yet, their DPS (damage-per-second) is much higher than 2-handed weapons when using a Rogue with the proper skills and high DEX. I don't think the Rogue should waste a single point into STR because the only thing it does is enhance the damage of weapons you won't be using (Axes, Maces, Polearms). On the other hand, DEX affects critical hits and dodge stats and augments daggers and bows damage the most, all of them very useful additions for the Rogue. You can reset your skills and attributes any time you want in Thamos for a fee, there's a vendor there that does that. I only got it because I was starving for a Vita RPG, was ashamed at first because: 1) It's a Gameloft game and I despise Gameloft; 2) Very very overpriced; 3) Seemed to be terrible judging by the reviews. Well, the game definitely has rough spots (mediocre dialogue and story, serious frame rate issues, bad graphics) but its gameplay is very addictive and fun so in the end I think that's what matters the most.
Dont you find that when you retreat slightly the enemies reappear with full health again? Its annoying lol Haha i know right!?! Apart from a few odd glitches its all ive played for last few weeks!
It's definitely annoying and stupid, though maybe I'm mistaken but I have the impression they reappear weaker and die faster.
.... I really really tried telling people how much fun i was having with DH:A but even i was stupid at first listening to everyone bash it. It is not the first dungeon hunters on iphone as many people think. I wish i would of picked it up earlier to be honest, the reason i grabbed it when i did was Amazons buy 2 get 1 free but i am playing it the most out of any game i have lol i wish there was alot more loot driven games out there for Vita!
A new RPG? 2D though... http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/PS+Vita/Dragon%27s+Crown/news.asp?c=40185 We want Diablo 3 for Vita! Spread the word lol! Yeah think you were the first to say everyone buy it lol! Everyone should Gonna get home and reset my stats on ny Rogue methinks
New game announced that will allow the Vita to run emulators/homebrew through PSP mode, if you're interested just google search "wololo"(not sure if I can link to such things, even though this doesn't allow piracy of PSP or Vita games) If you're interested also make sure to pick up the game or Sony will remove it soon, like they did last time.
I've got like $23 in my wallet to blow. Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe the DLC packs for Motorstorm RC and maybe a PSP game.
Not fussy. Played most of what I wanted on the PSP do I want something I can played for a second or third time with lots of content. Was thinking Disgaea 2 as I never got to finish it, PSP was stolen. Or maybe Final Fantasy Tactins but I hear slowdown ruins the PSP version. Also open to other options.
I'm not big on SRPG's, though I heard Tactics Ogre is great if you like the genre. Only one I've ever liked was Jeanne D'Arc, if you haven't played that one you should. I'll recommend different games that I've had a blast playing JRPG - The Legend of heroes: Trails in the Sky, great story, great characters, takes a bit to get into it, but once you do it's awesome. Monster hunter-like game(but I actually liked this one, unlike Monster Hunter) - God Eater Burst. Here's the video on youtube that made me get the game to begin with:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGV-YB-JCWc An adventure visual novel type of game - Corpse Party - it's scary, sounds awesome(meant to be played with headphones, in the dark)
Thanks for the suggestions. I played Tactics Ogre on PSX and GBA. The PSP version is a remake sort of so it might be worth checking out, just costs twice as much as FFT which I also played before. Jeanne D'Arc is great but it isn't on the PS Store, I think I need a PS3 to transfer it. I love the Monster Hunter series but I played it so much I think I would grow tired of Monster Hunter Freedom United. I'm thinking of waiting for the next MH game to be announced for Vita. I also checked out that God Eater Burst an it seems interesting, might check it out. Oh and I checked out Corpse Party, doesn't look like my type of thing. I wish Patapon 3 was on there, only one I never played.
I know... I've read it's on the Chinese and some other ps stores so I don't understand why it's not in the US yet.. I bought patapon 2 again to hold me over. It's still really worth it to play through again
I think it's on the European store too. Maybe I'll get the 2nd one too. LocoRoco is also missing from the PS Store, I hope Sony is quick with more releases (PSP) that is.
I can't remember if I got God Eater in the PS Store or my PS3, might have been on the PS3, sorry. Same with Jeanne. What about The Legend of Heroes? Don't like JRPG's?
It is actually a good fighting game with lots of custom weapons and blood, I've been tempted to buy that one myself again.
