Dang I dont know why I went physical copies, I mean no manuals even come with them.... now Best Buys are even closing because IMO its going to be a DD world soon.
With the bigger games you might want to stick to physical coppys, since they'll fill up your memory card pretty quickly. (For example, I read that Uncharted is like 3.2 GB big). Btw, just got the achievement for getting Elite passes on ALL the regular races in Wipeout! (= not on Prototype unlock races or A+ challenges)
UC:GA Chapter 29 I think (faces puzzle) I cannot get the gods faces puzzle to work, any help out there? How the heck do you do it right, I have 3 of them it looks just like the pucture but nothing happens...
Nope, if you really want to go all digital, your best best is to sell your physical copies towards money for their digital counterparts. You won't get full price for them, but you'll get something at least. I personally wouldn't sell them, I'd just start going all digital from now on and keep those 3 copies. I'd rather do that, that lose money selling the physical copies. I'm personally going physical on games that I feel will have no replay value and I'll want to resell them later. I'm going digital with games that I think I'll never stop playing and of course certain games are digital only. Yeah, it charges while on. Just make sure you insert the cable into the vita with the PS symbol facing up, I've heard some people inserting it the other way(symbol face down) and the Vita not charging. Apparently it inserts both ways, haven't tried it myself though, don't want to risk damaging the port or whatever it's called.
I *think* the psv needs to be completely OFF for it to charge over USB, otherwise its a very *slow* trickle charge. I drive to Nashville from Memphis (oy, to think I lived in Los Angeles just 3 weeks ago) once a week and I thought charging my psv in my car's usb slot would have topped me up over the 3 hour drive, but no go. It was still the same power level when I arrived, which sucked, i had another 2 hours to kill... I just gave it a go off my mac, and when the psv is totally powered off, I noticed the blue ps button changed to orange, but ONLY if the device was off. Conversely, charging from the power adapter gives me an orange ps button no matter what power state the psv is in. Hope a firmware upgrade sorts that out, its not very intuitive.
I think you might be right there. I don't personally charge it via USB, just through the wall socket, so I'm not sure either. I remember reading that about USB charging though. That might be what Teknikal read as far as the Vita having to be off.
Rayman Origins comes with a very cute little manual. I'm probably going to go physical for all the games that I can, to save memory space for the digital-only titles. Also, one of my younger brothers might be getting a Vita, so It would also be nice to share games with him. In a DD only world, I sincerely hope that they sort out ways for family members to share games. Apple is surprisingly cool with such sharing, so why can't other companies do the same?
Apps from the App Store are very cheap, so more people are willing to just buy them as opposed to asking others to share. Sony and other companies would lose a lot of money if the same system applied to game consoles. Also, you can share digital downloads on your PSN account with 2 Vitas. That's not a large number by any means, but it works if you're only going to be sharing with a sibling.
I also like not having to switch cards to play different games, like the iphone and ipad its all just touch and bam. But i kind of see the Vita games are different because I cant see popping in a game and wanting to switch 5 min later either lol
Hustle Kings developer bringing Pure Chess to PS3 and PS Vita in April yay? Another game, if it's cheap enough I guess I would consider purchasing it..
You figure it out yet? You only have to pay attention to the god in the center (has a skeletal appearance with a big mouth). It threw me off at first too- it's a really simple puzzle. The other gods don't matter.
^^Fifa and Unit 13 also came with nothing other than the cartridge. Still, I'll stick to physical copies of most games to save space on the mem card.
Anyone with a 16 GB card have any opinions? I've got an 8 gb for now, but find myself constantly swapping out a few PSP games. I think 16gb would be fine since I'm doing physical for the most part and really just need the space for PSP games and updates/DLC for Vita stuff. 32 would be ideal, but I can't bring myself to drop $100 on a stupid memory card. the 16gb price is hard enough...
I only buy physical copies, heres what came with them - bought from Europe (if that counts/makes a difference): Fifa Football - Linking online ID guide Rayman Origins - Instruction Manual UMvsC 3 - Nothing Uncharted - Nothing Unit 13 - Online ID code sheet Looks like Rayman only - are all Ubisoft games with manuals?
Forums talk about some of the rayman origin disc based games have the manual in pdf form on the disk..? havent really checked yet.....checking now.....sure enough the pc downloaded version has it on pdf... and rayman 2 as a bonus. vita: the manual is on the game card in pdf. never even noticed the pink book icon with the question mark on it :S....its hell getting old lol.
I like haveing the smaller 8gb cards...I have one for movies , one for games and one for music. and from past experiances with the pro duo cards is that if one goes bad, then your out 100 dollars for a 32gb card. i am holding out for a 3rd party adapter to arrive..it didnt take long for the pro duo adapters to hit the market. on a side note, i picked up used 8gb cards on ebay cheap, due to the fact people going gaga over the 32gb ones.
I have an 8GB one, still in the package. Came with my Vita, I don't think I'll ever use it. Not sure what would be the best way to sell it.
