Been catching up on some PSP games I missed and damn there are some good ones. Assassins Creed is really good. Anyone know if Split/Second is compatible? I loved that game when I had the UMD version.
I read somewhere (might have been in this thread) that Split/second doesn't transfer over, otherwise I'd have bought it by now.
I've seen it listed as compatible on a few sites. Not sure if it's only the NA version of the game or all versions though. I'd do some research before shelling out the money though- just to be safe, because some compatibility lists I've seen contradict others.
Relly getting annoyed with Unit 13 do you think I should trade in towards F1?? I know F1 is last seasons cars etc so was unsure if the new one would be out in Sept with the console versions I hope in the future Vita games will be released alongside console versions and not 2/3months later
I wouldn't do that, Unit 13 is great and I'm quite sure much better than F1. Unit 13 is often hard, but not brutal hard, not even close to that. Once you: 1) Get used to the gameplay; 2) Realize how overpowered the Gunner is (except for covert missions, evidently, but those are usually very easy, anyway); 3) Memorize the layout of the 8 or so maps; it all gets much easier. Most difficult points are the rare infinite respawning enemies missions and some of the timed ones. You must be very aggressive in both cases, that's were the Gunner come in.
Haha notice you use the gunner a lot-mission 4 just did with Marksman and just pipped your score getting the trophy for beating a friends score- looks like leader boards have started to work on this game now-finally lol Now get back to it and keep sending me intel through near lol
Must own list Ok guys I want to start a "must own psp games for my vita" list. I will start with some I am definately going to download soon! Add any I missed! God of war: ghost of sparta Metal gear solid: peace walker walker Ys seven Valkayrie chronicles 2 w/dlc Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Disgaea 2: afternoon of darkness Tactics Ogre: LUCT
Killzone: Liberation Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 God of War: Chains of Olympus Burnout Legends Burnout Dominator Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters What Did I Do To Deserve This My Lord 2 Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Daxter Secret Agent Clank Echochrome *It should be noted that you need a PS3 to download some of these games, and I only know that the US versions work- other versions may or may not work.
Everybody says that Ratchet & Clank:SM works for them, but I can't get it to transfer. I connect my Vita to my PS3 and it shows it on the list under Content Manager. I choose to transfer and it goes through the whole transfer process, but never actually shows up on my Vita... >_<
Heh, I'm quite sure I'll give the Friendly Rivalry trophy to all my friends I usually don't care about leaderboards, so many of my missions probably have mediocre scores. I'd go for better scores and 5-star every mission if I needed the stars for the HVTs missions and trophies, but already got all of them through Near gifts.
Lol i know gift me the intel for 180stars-im never going to get that one otherwise lol! And the psp game MGS Peace Walker isnt compatible for Vita i thought? Anyone bought it and found out?
? How is Killzone Liberation? Do you need to transfer from ps3 to Vita? Is it a must have in your opinion?
It's pretty good. One of the best top down shooters I've played IMO. It can be fairly tough at times though- you have a set amount of health (though you can pick up medpacks) so you can't just run and gun, and some enemies can insta-kill you- it's more of a tactical shooter. It also has a decent amount of playtime, esp. if you count the challenges. The only downside to playing it on the Vita is that there isn't any way to install the DLC/patches. The DLC adds online multiplayer which is pretty fun, and another chapter. The DLC isn't available on PSN, as it was released prior to PSN's PSP launch- so you have to find it online. Unfortunately, it's in the wrong format for the Vita . I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure I did have to transfer it from my PS3. I consider it one of the best games available on the PSP, and it's one of the best Killzone games. I think it all depends on what you're into. I wouldn't skip it.
Does it work if you transfer it from a pc to the vita? I dont have a ps3 but I would really like peace walker but nor do I want to waste $30
I want to say no because I doubt you can download PSP games onto your PC, but I could be wrong, though I really feel that I'm right.
You can download PSP games onto your PC(with MediaGo), but they will not transfer to your Vita, only to a PSP. Peace Walker requires a PS3 to transfer to your Vita.
You could transfer it from the PC to the Vita theoretically, but PSP games downloaded to the PC (and PSP/PS3) are in a different format than the Vita uses. The PS3 converts the games into Vita format, the computer does not. PSP games are typically EBOOT files, but the Vita changes them into a weird folder format.
