We all should learn the Japanese language so we won't have to wait for localization. Better yet, someone should just cram the Japanease language into a pill so we could just pop a one and then be able to play these darn games. I mean, there are already pills for just about everything. On a serious note, I've been have fun with Jak and Daxter on the Vita. I never got to play it when it originally released. It's a pretty fun game but a bit too easy. I am also still working through the Witcher 3 on PS4. That darn game has made my backlog so much worse since it has been taking forever to beat. Then Fallout 4 is coming out next month! Agghhhh! I hope everyone here is doing well and having a blast on their Vitas.
I also have a question hopefully someone can answer. I believe I asked this previously but cannot remember the answer. So, let's say I have a digital game bought from the NA store. If I imported the Asia English physical version, would there be one or two sets of trophies? I hope that made some sense.
Thanks for the link. How do I tell though? I see where the games are, but I don't see anything about region comparability.
Check Demon Souls. It has 3 Separate lists. Also Dead Nation. It has a JAP and an U.S. Version. I assume the Euro version has a shared list with the U.S. Something like Dragon Ball Xenoverse seems to share the same list across all regions. So... Buy Demon Souls in all 3 regions = 3 separate trophy list Buy Dead Nation U.S. &/or Euro; trophy list will be shared. Buy the Asia version, you'll have a separate list. Db Xenoverse: Even if you buy the game in all regions, you still get only 1 list.
Thank you, I think I can tell now. It's a lot better than just crossing my fingers. By the way, was that Demon Souls example secretly a challenge? Do you want me to platinum the same game 3 times?
Big Sale on PSN this week - looking at Dracula X Chronicles that was made for PSP. Only 2.25. Is this a good version? Controls are everything in these games, so if the graphics are dated - expected, but if the controls are finnicky there is no point even spending a dime. Picked up Catherine for PS3. Only $5.
Ha I wouldn't be surprised if someone else has already triple plat Demon Souls. I do have 1 triple plat.... Spoiler Sound Shapes for the win! Anyway, its been all Vita for me for the past few weeks, playing Toukiden and PS Nova. My next 2 games will be Danganronpa 2 and Soul Sacrifice Delta. But before I play those games, imma head back to the PS4 and play a few games on that. I have Dracula X Chronicles on Vita. I only played up to the first boss. I don't remember struggling with any controls though. I do remember some weird control stuff with the D-Pad... can't quite remember what it was.
I do have a triple Demon's Souls plat, it's one of my all-time favorite games and I would plat it a million times if I could. But it's nothing to brag about, really, the Souls games difficulty is vastly overrated. Did you know that Sound Shapes in fact have SIX! platinums (PS3, Vita, PS4-US, PS4-EU, PS4-JP, PS4-HK)?
Yep thats nuts. I wouldn't quite go that far for the other 3 (HK JP EUR). On another note, PS Nova was a blast! Took some screens. Under 60 hrs for the Plat. All right I guess, considering the language barrier.
In Super Meat Boy I've just got the boss in The End left. It really is an amazing game and such a good fit for Vita. And after I do that there's plenty left to do as I've got a lot of bandages and A+'s left on the table. Plus Dark World levels, Cotton Alley, and getting no death runs. I've done a no death run of The Forest (Light World). That wasn't too bad. Note that you can do them in any order, so start with the last several levels since those are the hardest, then go back to the beginning.
I'm finally selling my damn Vita. It's time we all admit that it is dead and has no games. Or maybe I'm selling it because... I saw a good deal on it, so I figured since I had a limited edition 1000 model, I needed a limited edition 2000 model. Sound logic, right? I know fans are usually pretty split on FFX, but I really loved that game. I think I am going to sell my black slim model since 3 Vitas is a bit too much. By the way, does anyone know of a good back protector for the 1000 model. I have the armoursuit one, but I dislike how the back and the grips have separate pieces. I would like to have it as a single piece. And to all of you physical lovers, there is a recent site that launched called Limited Run Games that, you guessed it, prints limited runs of previously digital only games. Their first run is going on sale on the 29th, and that game is Breach and Clear.
Nice on the triple plat, but didn't that get boring? I would love to try PS Nova, but THERE IS NO ENGLISH VERSION! AGHHHHH!!! Ah, excuse me. I lost my composure there for a moment... Anyways, I really enjoyed Dagan 2 and SS Delta. D2 is a bit... wacky but still a good game.
You know, I've never played that game before. I'll have to try it sometime, especially since it is on Vita now. Thanks for the input.
Sound Shapes triple plat is a cheat. If you get the plat on one console, you can get the plat on the others just by loading the cross-save. Actually there might be something more to it than that, but that's the gist of it.
Nope, it's exactly like that, you earn the first platinum and for the others just sync the cloud save. It also works for all the DLC, so it takes about a minute or two to unlock all the 89 trophies. A trophy Spoiler whores hunters dream, for sure LOL
@Anubis- White Vita for the win! @joltrabbit- hehe. It was a fun ride. An English version would still be great. I wouldn't mind playing through it again with another class. And to understand the story obviously. Sound Shapes... Not gonna lie, hearing those trophy "clinks" was music to my ears.
I finally beat the boss of The End in SMB. And went back and completed all of the Forest Dark World levels. Tried to no-death The Hospital (that seems impossible) and started on Cotton Alley. That started out seeming impossible too, but now I just have 5 Cotton Alley (well, just the Light World) levels to go to complete it. "Just". And Cotton Alley Light World is done (well, not A+'s). Went back and worked on dark world levels. 40 dark world levels down, 45 to go to unlock the real end boss.
So anyone try the SC Trails game or know anything about it? I want it, but I haven't beat the first one yet... I hear it's a direct sequel though.
