It's dead. Their pathetic backtracking statement doesn't change anything. It'll be given a few titles from Sony's third party production team and then fade away. Take a look at the rest of that PowerPoint presentation. Outside of the write-off of components part, the Vita isn't mentioned anywhere else in the presentation, aka it's dead outside of Japan.

Despite no new games, the Vita sill lives on in my world! PS Now has to be the coolest application out there! God of Wars, Ratchet & Clanks! Most Ubisoft titles too! Just a matter of time until Activision jumps on with call of duty titles! Also I have to say the OLED is just beautiful to look at!
Would love to see some awesome Vita stuff at E3 though!

I may have missed mention of this but for those that didn't know like myself, Civilization Revolutions 2 Plus has been rated for Vita. A few pages back I was asking for something like this, so looks like I might get it after all.

Civ rev 2 sounds cool if they avoid touchscreen mechanics. Really wish these forums were alive again, I've been playing through Killzone 3 on it & it's been amazing to say the least

Guess what? It's NOT dead! People here will attest to that! Great games you cannot get on your smartphones at all! And PS Now is rockin'! The Vita is a bad-ass little piece of quality hardware, man! Lotsa life in it still!

Vita is very much alive with me. It gets a lot of play every day even with my iPad.

I picked up The Wolf Among Us last week in the Telltale sale. Frickin excellent game. I love the Telltale games.

I really want the Operation Abyss game that came out last week. It looks excellent but will have to wait for now. Has anyone played it yet?

Super Meat Boy on Vita will be very cool. I just recently bought it for my 360 because I had expiring points, but I may now wait for the Vita/PS4 version. It's going to be free with PS+ at least in the US.

Pretty sweet deal! I'm buying a year of PS+ soon since the summer deals are always great! By the way, has anyone played flower? Just want to know if it's worth it

I played on Vita / PS3 / PS4 and love it. Definitely not for everyone, though.

Go get a Playstation card and load it onto your Vita. That way, you can take your time deciding what you want and do it whenever you feel the itch! That's what I do! :D I always have money loaded also for my iPad and Android phone!

Been playing Steins;Gate for the last couple of days, and everyone who is into time travel stories, deep characters, japanese culture and VNs owe it to themselves to play the game.
It might slow at first but the art design is top notch, the localization is excellent, VAs still in japanese if that's your thing, there is a Tip category where every vocab/term/expression is explained in more details, and lots of endings to aim for.
