Playstation Vita Discussion Thread

I can afford two of the following - which two do I get first (or should I wait for sales?). I have $35 to spend on psn

Counter Spy
Rocketbirds
Hotline Miami 2
Helldivers
Damascuss Gear
(I'd list metal slug 3 here but I can't spend $15 on a game that's been part of a collection for this price!)

Flash sale is mostly stuff I own.

 

Helldivers is great, Counterspy / Rocketbirds are meh, haven't played the others.

 

Meh sounds like wait for sales

Damascus gear looks mediocre but it's a customizable mech game. I have to buy it by default.

 

Finally beat Ys Celceta. It was ok.

Just ok.

 

Were the psp releases better?

 

Definitely. The gameplay is the same mostly, but the story in Ys Celceta. My god. What a dull story.

 

Ack, forgot Titan Souls ... Has that hit vita yet?

 

Yeah, hit this week. Has 10% discount with ps plus.

 

I have seen some psp games on the PSN, via my iPad and PC that I can't see on the store when using the Vita.

Can I still purchase these on the PC? And will they then be available in the Download List on the vita?

If you can't see the games in the Vita's store app, you won't be able to download them via the Vita. Some games may be transferrable via a PS3 though, but I'm not an expert on that kind of stuff, since I don't own a PS3.

Thanks. I haven't got a PS3 so didn't know if you could purchase on PC and then download on vita.

I hope they continue to add the back catalogue.

 

My PS3 is not letting me transfer ps1 or psp games to my Vita. Should I try it on PC?

Main games on the transfer-only list I'm trying for: Mgs, silent hill, silent hill origins

Edit: movies are transferring fine. I have games downloaded that aren't installed on my PS3 that won't transfer either

 

try going into the download list on the vita and downloading from there straight to vita.

Ha, that's my bad. I just started that conversation just for conversations sake. I didn't realize IGN had a video of a possible new model. In my opinion, they're a bunch of idiots anyway so I would never take them too serious.

Hey, I just spotted the God of War collection on the U.S. Amazon site for $15.

 

God of War 2 in particular is a bloody good game. Bloody good.









It may not run at native res, but it still looks incredible considering it's a port of a PS2 game.

 

God damn, I just mention a sale and you go out of your way to post a bunch of screenshots. Too bad I already ordered it, otherwise your post would have sold me on it.
