Luckily I did find out the dialouge option I got wrong and had a save before then. I got 2/3 options correct. For the last one it was something like I remained quiet instead of telling someone to wait. I can't believe how much of a difference that one dialouge scene makes. I've gotten an extra 6 hours of gameplay so far, and I haven't finished it! They really need a disclaimer for the bad endings saying that you picked the wrong option and are missing out on a big chunk of the game. I'll probably end up playing this again in the future, it's a great game! Thanks!
Hey! The other night I was just thinking of your family and hoping all was well. I'm glad to hear your father is a trooper and I hope the rest of his treatments go well. Thanks for stopping by and letting us know how it is going.
Hello, whether you want a Vita or not is entirely up to you. It really depends what type of games you are looking for. If you hate all indies and only like AAA games, you will be in the same boat as the others who claim it is dead. If you don't mind indies and you're okay with niche games, the Vita is a blast. Not only do you have access to the Vita's games, you can play PSP and PSOne games also. For example, I have Final Fantasy 1-10 on my vita, plus some of the spin offs. Some of the games I have enjoyed are... * Persona 4G * Final Fantasy X * Gravity Rush * Dragon's Crown, * Tearaway * Soul Sacrifice Delta * Killzone Mercenary * Disgaea 4 * Metal Gear Solid Collection * Guacamelee! * Rogue Legacy * Terraria * Don't Starve * Helldivers There are plenty of other games I've enjoyed, and plenty of games I own but haven't played yet. If you're curious about certain genres or games, let us know and I'm someone could help.
Hello. - Borderlands 2 I recommend you try playing on a different system. It's a pretty bad port that try haven't improved much. It is playable now, but the FPS often drops below 30, the loading times are long, and multiplayer only allows 2 players. The game itself is awesome though. - Gravity Rush is a pretty good game. The art style is nice, the gameplay is fun, and it is kind of open. I must warn you that it can be a battle with the controls at times. If you can get past that, there is a pretty fun game to be played. - Killzone is probably the Vita's best shooter. The graphics are probably the best on the system. The campaign is pretty good compared to most nowadays. It still isn't anything remarkable though. I guess this shooter is very comparable to something you would find on a console. - The MGS games run great on the system, and look pretty good also. If you like the series then I would pick it up. The controls can be a bit difficult to learn at first.
Thanks very much for your best wishes. Dad is doing okay but the latent side effects can be quite hard on him but he's managing through it. Dad also has a pacemaker so extra precaution is needed. He has our support and an excellent friendly oncologist Take care for now
Thanks! I think that I can manage to learn some weird controller schemes but from what you say about Borderlands, it seems like I'll be better buying the Handsome Collection for my PS4 just for the framerate. And also, thanks september, I just saw the DLC and it seems kind of weird for a botmatch mode but I'm still getting it as the campaign won't work for preparing me for the multiplayer
Ah, but the PS4 (and Xbone) versions of the Borderlands Handsome Jack collection have frame rate drop and screen tearing issues. They are aware and trying to fix it: http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/t/fps-drops-in-the-pre-sequel/150198/15
Thanks, Anubis! I love indie games and niche-type games. My main concern with that is to get games that I don't already have (and can't get) from my two favorite platforms, IOS, and Android. And the device would be of so much more value to me if I could just keep all the free games they have without having to keep some stupid subscription current. So, actually, it appears there is NO free games at all, that you're really just RENTING them until you stop paying up, which totally sucks IMO, and almost a deal-breaker TBH. I know it's the same deal with Xbox, etc. but still...doesn't mean I like it or I think it's right!
Didn't give me much trouble either TBH, only hard bosses were Ornstein & Smough and Four Kings (NG+). Then I got confident and bought Bloodborne... well, let's just say my ass is still hurting LOL
Yes you have to keep up your PS+ sub, but you can resume later and get access to the games you had before. You don't lose them forever, you just can't play them without PS+. For me it's a ridiculous value as I have PS3, PS4 and Vita. I get way more games then I can deal with and I need it for online on the PS4 anyway.
Just an FYI, the Target by me is clearanced out almost all of the Vita games they had left, $4-$11 depending on the game. I am not sure if this is nationwide or not but it might be worth a look.
Hey, BT! So this is where you been hanging out? What's up?! Long time! Looks like tomorrow I'm gonna have to check that out at Target! Could be a good tip! Right-on!
Borderlands 2 comes in the bundle right? Unless you're getting some other package/deal? Cant go wrong with Gravity Rush and Killzone The MGS collection is a great start to jump into the series. MGS2 at least runs very well and the controls are well done imo. Cant speak for MGS3 performance on Vita.
I'm buying it used because I don't know why but handhelds and consoles here in Mexico get a pretty funny price increase, specially with handhelds so getting it used is probably my best way to get it. Wait, does MGS 3 has performance issues?
Bought my Vita today on eBay, won't get it for almost a week! Already got a hard case for it and some games today! What do you think? Killzone Rayman Legends Lumines Tearaway Jack & Daxter God of War Dead or Alive 5+ Reality Fighters Got the OLED screen older version. Looks like now I'm gonna hafta get a 64GB memory card for it and from what I've been seeing, it's expensive! Can't wait to play with my new toy!
Nope, MGS3 runs absolutely fine, except for in one cutscene where you overlook a massive base and that's just kind of too much for the Vita to handle. (It's just one cutscene though, and even then it doesn't run that bad, just noticeably below 30 fps.)
