Apparently it's only of use for certain types of vision impairment. Which those are I don't know. I'm not an expert on the topic, but it's what I found when I searched on it. iOS has an inverted colors accessibility option too.
Man, the human body and how it functions is so interesting. Reminds me of this: http://www.buzzfeed.com/stephaniemcneal/secret-comic-picture#.mwDoyv0jB
That seems kind of bullshit to me, considering that the original image posted on twitter literally doesn't contain any kind of information about an hourglass in the watchface. No ammount of colour adjustments of that digital image will change that. Plus when they tried explaining it they claimed to have reversed the colours, but didn't. That's not how the colours would look like if you actually reversed the colours.
But many have claimed to have seen it, and the author/scientists completely explained that. To me it's believable and not that far fetched tbh. But we never know with the internet...
Feel free to mess with the colours in that image yourself. Sure, it might be the case with the printed version of the cover, but that twitter image does not contain any hourglass what so ever.
Hmmm I will try to search more things on this subject and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the heads up.
If Sony said the inverted colors are for "vision impairment" i would say you cant get too much more vague than that. Anyone who wears glasses has a vision impairment in the strict sense of the words. The common thing that gets encountered in gaming is color deficiencies - which actually are not so much deficiency as confusion. The solution for that is use of hues that tend to not cause confusion, as well as backgrounds that help with contrast. Looks more gimicky to me than anything, but i will be interested in what others find out. Havent got the new update. I have been gorging on watching blurays of the series Person of Interest. Its not great, but i still got hooked.
That makes sense. Is the show good? Lately I've been binge-watching Bates Motel (prequel of sorts to Psycho) and Shameless (american version).
Damn, I just beat Persona 4. Spoiler That ending was so unsatisfying. I apparently got the bad ending. Not sure what I did wrong... Man, I l just can't get over that ending... Well, I'm going to go cradle myself in a corner and cry myself to sleep. By the way, what carries over in ng+?
You need to follow a specific dialogue choice during a certain time to ensure the path to the True Ending. Search for a guide on that. Things you keep for NG+: Amount of Yen you have. Persona Compendium List. Amount of persona slots. Key items from Max Social Link Events. Status Parameters (Eg. Courage, Knowledge, Etc). Costumes. Daidara Shopping List. Skill Cards Things that doesn't get transferred: Character Levels. The Personas you have at the end. The equipment you have. The items you have. Analysis data of shadows.
Say what!?! The ending comes down to a few dialogue choices?!?! Damn, that's harsh. Somewhere in the game I must have said I hated humanity and wished that everyone would eat a nuke. Thanks for the info on the new game plus. Spoiler Do any of the other endings allow you to play for the few months that are skipped? I really disliked how it just skipped over about 3 of them. It felt like the last fifth of the game was cut out. I was almost expecting a pop up saying I could play the rest of the story for the small small price of my kidney. I probably would have paid too.
Nope that's just how Persona works. Also the dialogue determining the true ending is pretty obvious and not skippable. But you need the exact answers to be put on that path.
Aww man, I'm kind of pissed. Spoiler i decided to look up a guide to see the exact dialogue choices I had to make. Even though I technically beat the game, I decided to look up a spoiler free guide so that the other ending wouldn't be spoiled. Out of the blue they throw a big spoiler in there. It has to relate to a certain character. I had my suspicions, but they were just minor and I would have still been surprised. What an asshole. I stopped reading the guide there, so hopefully it didn't spoil everything. Still annoying though. By the way, what would I do without you. You're like my mentor for all vita related things.
Gear, weapons, and I think some stats, I may be wrong. Sucks you got the bad ending, you would have been looking at a bit more story and 2 more dungeons if you did it correctly. Can't stress how important it is to save before. Have fun with your next playthrough!
Been thinking about getting a Vita. My Xbox One isn't doing much for me, and I'm attracted to the older free games available. I understand the freebies go bye-bye if your Playstation Plus lapses, and that kinda sucks! Had a PSP a long time ago, loved some of those games! Ive been told the older version's screen's better. I s'pose there's other digital games to purchase. Mostly these days I game on my iPad and Android on my Note 3. Seems like the Vita is on the downhill slide in general. Is it? On the fence here. What do you guys think? Should I do it or not and why? Also, what games are the best? Thanks!
Just read your posting bigrand1 and I just had to log on to give you some words of encouragement. I'm far from a serious gamer but I like to think of myself as more than casual. Months ago I became fascinated with the vita. I did a lot of Internet searching reading much about the vita but it was really the interaction with the friendly and fantastic help and knowledge of the current members of this thread that helped the most in getting me to decide on buying the vita. I chose the oled vita and it's fantastic. No doubt the new lcd screen vita is awesome also. Due to my Dad not being well and a ton of work to do I've had little time to play on my vta lately. The other day though I took out my charger and charged up my device, then I played for the first time in quite awhile the game called The Swapper and it's fantastic . It was then that my decision to buy the vita got reinforced and I was very happy. As for games I'll leave that more to the expert members here to help you. Hope my modest post helps you in some little way To the others here my father is doing quite well so far. He has four more chemotherapy treatments to go for non Hodgkin's lymphoma. He is 85 and has gone through a lot in recent years. What a trooper he is
So, I'm at the brink of buying a PSVita (hopefully within 1-2 weeks from now) and I want about some games for the system that I'll be quite likely to buy with it: -Borderlands 2 (never played it before but Tales From The Borderlands made me want to get it) -Gravity Rush -Killzone Mercenaries -MGS Collection (again, I've never played any of them but I just got the preorder of MGS V as a gift from a friend so I want to know more of the franchise before playing it)
Haha, maybe that came out the wrong way. I mean I never felt like breaking a controller or felt like it was unfair like others have said. I'm no great gamer by any means, I guess I'm just persistent. That game always made me feel like when I died, it was my fault and not because of the game.
