That's lame. The 3DS version was just a high res port of the DS version. Handheld Lego games suck now, and I prefer playing those types of games more on portables than consoles. Lego Indiana Jones 2 is where they started to be mediocre. My favorite is still probably Lego Star Wars II for PSP- wish it was on PSN. Pirates wasn't bad on 3DS, but it lacked multiplayer which made it pointless to play, so I skipped it.

I bought the first Dissidia (awesome game but I still haven't played more than a few hours) a week ago, can anyone tell me if I should throw my money down on Dissidia 012 since its half off for a limited time??

I'm sure I'll do it anyway but still, I kinda wanna know what I'm getting into. Thanks.

Dissidia 012 is definitely worth picking up. It makes your purchase of the first game pointless though, because it includes the entire campaign of the first game with it (after you beat the new campaign- which is a prequel to the original game) :(

At least you get to save some space right?

My near App has went from 11 people nearby to 36 in the last few days I'm taking that as a good sign for the system although somehow Fifa Soccer has over 50 users racked up under the chart thing which I don't really understand.

Also quite pleased with the games I picked up with the system although I am missing not having a fighter or FPS as yet.

Bought a Vita shortly after release and just finally got around to trying it. I bought the system with an 8GB memory card and Lumines. I'm loving Lumines but I knew I would as it was also my favorite launch title for the PSP. I also picked up WipeOut last night but haven't tried it yet. Anyone want to share impressions of WipeOut before I crack it open? I love the WipeOut series I'm just thinking both Lumines and WipeOut were titles I bought for the PSP launch so it might be worth checking out something different for a change. ;) Also thinking about Rayman.

Also any suggestion on a good case?

The fact that there's decent analogue control + buttons make the vita appealing to me. I hear voice chat is 'none hassle' too, but can anyone confirm the following...

Is a headset required or can you use internal mic/speaker for voice chat?
Any hassles when voice chatting with mates during games(fifa) ?

    Cheers

Yeah I know what your saying I've been playing Fifa, Wipeout and everybody's golf only so far and their all titles I had variations off on the PSP anyway although I would say all three are a step up
    .
My impressions of Wipeout are good but apart from the upgraded graphics (which are very nice) it does play like Pulse did and even lacks a few things pulse had like decals, option to include your own music files.

I'd recommend it but it isn't perfect, it is impressive though and it is Wipeout.

    ?

So of course I have a Vita but I also have an ipad2 and iphone4, what I am wondering is if you other Vita owners are still picking up IOS games like Adventure Bar Story or Kids vs Goblins still or whatever even though you have a Vita? I found myself debating it last night...

Haven't tried that myself yet either although I would also think the vitas built in mic would do the task

I did see Argos in the UK have a Tritton Switchblade Bluetooth Headset headset under Vita accessories so I presume you can use a headset if you wanted to. Also I think I've read Sony sells headphones with a mic for the Vita which are unfortunately different to apples.

Nope haven't bought a single IOS game since I got mine I actually took a ton of games of my iPod a week ago and loaded on more music instead, saying that I did play infinity blade 2 a little earlier but my Vita was charging at the time and I was also testing out IOS 5.1.

I don't really intend to buy any more IOS games except maybe the odd Kairosoft ones but I've plenty of IOS games already.

    ...

Thanks Mash and Tek I agree, I actually deleted off a bunch of games myself. One thing I noticed was I bought Uncharted and Ninja Gaiden with the Vita and I played Uncharted once and NG a few times but I am playing FFT on Vita every day... Go figure. Maybe I should of spent the money on PSP games instead of Uncharted and NG  What I really need is a loot game or good RPG's!

I think I'm gona finally pull the trigger today and get a vita off of amazon. I'm not sure what size memory card to get though. I really want to go all digital but $99 for the 32 gb is a little pricey. I'd like to be have some room to download game demos and such. Should I just pull the trigger and get it or would the 16 gb hold me over for a while ?

16gb should be fine, prob hold about 6 main vita games and few demos
I heard games run better of a game card rather than digitally and for the sake of a few quid i will always get the game and box, and just use mem card for demos and digital only-motorstorm and super stardust
But depends on what you want, anyone else think games run slower off mem cars than hard disc copies?

Lol unsure if it was sarcasm or not? Have to say IB Dungeons will be a must buy but will it be only decent high quality game for IOS this year? Where im sure there will be loads for Vita ;)

No it wasnt sarcasm, I probably wont buy any more ipads now that I have Vita. Maybe just upgrade my phone every year or 2... It's kind of hard for me to justify getting new ipads when I wont be gaming on them you know?

I'd bite the bullet and go with the 32GB card if you can. It's an investment, but if you go DD, it's good to have some buffer with all the psp, mini, vita demos and patches.

I keep going back on wednesday of every week out of habit to see what's new and haven't seen anything that piqued my interest. IB dungeons looks like a nice dungeon crawler so that might be one to get. Other than that, I'm honestly out of the loop with what's coming down the pipeline.
