I love my vita, I really do, but its ignorant to ignore the fact the Japense and American marketplace are completely different. Japan's market is significantly smaller than the US's meaning they have to push a vastly smaller amount of units off the shelves to hold that position on the charts. The 3DS though? It will continue to dominate the US marketplace and the vita will be stuck behind due to Sony's neglect. It's a real shame..

Just for the record, post is meant to show things are healthy rather than which platform is doing badly. Its a good sign as far as development and support go.

Hmmm, thanks for digging into that. I also thought he was joking but I was growing suspicious. The posts you dug up confirms my suspicions. I also strongly agree with your part about caring about the awesome games, not which system they're exclusive to. I never personally understood why there must be competition between consoles. Every console that I can think of has had great games and great exclusives. Why must people feel like they can only stick to one? Any smart gamer would realize that it's best to own multiple consoles and enjoy the experiences each has to offer, rather than to pledge loyalty to only one and miss out on a ton of games. Helldivers sounds fantastic and features PS3/PS4/Vita cross-buy/cross-play/cross-chat (as well as local multiplayer). Ha! You and me are the same. I know it doesn't mean much, but it is interesting that the dead vita is getting more comments than the recently released "new" 3ds thread. Maybe they're all just playing their console..weird concept. I personally wouldn't know what to do if I didn't have both 3dsxl and a vita!
