Awe, thanks for explaining it everyone. I don't understand why people have to do stuff like that. Sure the kid was a bit naïve, but there was no reason to punish him for it. Even though it was just a game, I kind of understand how he felt. I used to have an Xbox 360 and I played it for years. I bought a lot of content as digital. One day I turned it on and my account wasn't on there. I tried to sign in, but it said my account didn't exist. I figured my account may have been banned, so I called Microsoft to ask why. After looking for it, they said they had no record of my account or my name. I ended up losing all my games and my saves. While I don't think someone intentionally did that to me, it was still a bit of a bummer. I hope that kid gets some help if possible. Like maybe someone could trade him nice weapons or help him level or something like that. I may be Mega Ass and I may enjoy tormenting people, but even I wouldn't have done that to the kid, or anyone in general. They went way to far with that.
Someone posted on psnprofiles that they saw people helping him level up on Twitch and there were a lot of solidarity comments. So faith in humanity restored. I totally get what you mean about losing games and save datas. People need to understand that gaming is a big deal to some gamers, and they invest a huge amount of time, and commit a lot of effort into their hobby. So feeling frustrated and sad when one loses all that is completely justified. But the XBox seems a bit shady; they told you they had absolutely no record of you in their system?
That's good to hear about the kid. In regards to my Xbox, that's what they said. I figured the one person I talked to didn't know what they were doing, so I ended up calling 3 different people and emailing two others. None of them could find my account. They were even able to find my brother's account using my last name, but not mine. I never understood how that happens, but I just moved on. I wasn't a young kid like the one in the video, so I just moved on. It did suck losing all my digital content, saves, and achievements. I ended up just selling the darn thing and the games I had. I didn't want to go through all of it again. Now that I think of it, maybe that is part of the reason I don't want to go digital only for my Vita? Anyways, I'm glad people are helping the kid. I hope those assholes that did it to him got their ears chewed off by viewers.
Well that sucks. I went all digital with my 3DS and Vita this era, and while I expect to lose my games with Nintendo since there is no reliable account system, I never imagined it would be possible with Microsoft and Sony. By the way, I remembered I didn't put Hyper Light Drifter on my Vita wish list before. Hope nobody forgot about it.
Eh, the way I look at it is if I didn't lose my account, I may not have sold my XBox and as a result, I may not have bought a Vita. I did lose faith in Microsoft though. I still don't understand how an account can just disappear without a trace. I mean, I even have them the credit card number I used on the account and they still couldn't find it. I must admit though... If they did come out with a handheld I probably would still buy it. The thing that annoyed me the most was that one agent was like "I'm sorry that we can't find your account, but I can help set up a new one for you and then you can just buy the games again". Grrrrr.... Microsoft... Anyway, keep adding to that list! I never heard of a lot of games you all had on your lists so I'm going to have to check them out!

The eshop has a lot of classics I used to play, so I'm satisfied with it.

Ha, fair enough. You did see my post where I was joking about selling my Vita and calling it dead? When I said all of that, I was mocking what most people say about the Vita. The vita is my baby so I would never sell it for such a low price. Also, having an affair is never harmful. Unless you have an affair with your woman, then you may wake up without your member. Don't try it.

Nemerleb! There is going to be a sale today and I don't think I played most of the games in it. You know what you have to do... What games should I look into picking up?
Frankly everything is kinda meh or blah to me. I wouldn't bother with Metrico because it's a failed attempt at a platformer-"puzzle" game that's just not fun (The Swapper is way cooler and fun). Little King Story is a Wii port of an RTS/dating sim/Simulator/farming game that is really meaty, long but simplistic. If you like Harvest Moon and such then it's good enough for you. Never tried an Atelier game before but a friend is hooked on them. It's a farming/alchemy game and too "shoujo" for my taste tbh. Tales Of Hearts R is a good entry in the Tales Of series. But be prepared for lots of reading and texts, linear gameplay, but a cool battle system. So if you're really into anime-esque JRPG with complicated stories then go for it. Monster Monpiece is a card game so not my thing at all. I was interested in the Jak&Dax trilogy but I heard there was a lot of problems regarding framerates. So I would enquire more if I were you before attempting a purchase. Honestly if you reeeally want to spend 20$ for your vita, I'd recommend Brandish which was released recently and is a PSP DRPG game, or Firefly Diaries which is releasing today and is qualified as hard-as-balls puzzle platformer.

Most of them looked meh to me also, so I wanted a second opinion. I was eyeing the Jak and Daxter trilogy, but you confirmed my fear that the game didn't run too well. I remember you recommending Brandish so I've been keeping my eye on it but might wait. I'll have to look into Firefly Diaries, that sounds like it could be fun. I might skip the sales this week. Nintendo just about killed my wallet. They stop producing their games and then people try to sell them for double the retail price. I noticed that A Link Between Worlds was going out of stock everywhere and the price was rising online, so I grabbed the last one in stock in the entire area. Then, the new Monster Hunter was sold out pretty much everywhere but I found a couple at a local retailer and picked one up. Grrrrrrr... I never had this issue with the Vita. Hell, I got some great physical Vita games for $5. Viva la Vita! Oh, and thank you for the help nemerleb and sorry for the rant.
Earth Defense Force is on sale for $12. I'll definitely be picking that up! Brandish is an excellent game. It plays like a mix between Zelda and Dark Souls.
