Kind of late to mention it now, but Aqua Kitty Milk Mine Defender is actually a really fun and challenging Defender update. Did anyone else pick that up? I think it was $2 or $3 in the flash sale. I also grabbed Rollers of the Realm (which to be honest, isn't that great, but I'm not that far in yet - maybe it will grow on me) and a last minute grab of Don't Die Mr. Robot, which I'm hearing is also really fun, but I haven't downloaded it yet. Going to play it tonight probably.
AND it's the game you bought recently too lmfao. Fandango at 15$ makes up for that more than enough though
Defender as in Eugene Jarvis Defender? Sh*t, I'm out of town but if so, I'll be downloading on Friday. Defender with cats - it's going to go one of two ways. Would love a Midway Arcade style thing on the Vita.
Ha, True. Well it was the physical version which I prefer, and it cost the same amount. I'll look into Grim Fandango though.
I never played the original. So hyped to get my hands on what people are calling the best in the genre! @Anu: you almost done with it?
Doesn't worry me personally tbh, but still it's not a good sign. I don't know what Sony is playing at these days.
Aww... and I was the one who recommended it to you *insert "Dishonor on my cow" gif* @Lucian: did you read the review pocketgamer did on Fandango? http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/PS+Vita/Grim+Fandango+%28Vita%29/review.asp?c=63565 Do you agree with them?
Music Unlimited shutting down in EU to be replaced initially on PS3 and PS4 by Spotify, unsure about Vita.
It's all your fault! Just kidding, it's definitely not your fault. You've recommended plenty of other games I've enjoyed. Now we just have to wait to see how Salt and Sanctuary fares.. IF IT EVER RELEASES! Ahh! I'm so impatient.
Another good game that you might have missed in the flash sale is Don't Die, Mr. Robot. It's not exactly a looker, but it's really fun. Well worth the measly $2 I paid for it! The Spotify thing is good news except for no Vita support at launch. I hope they get that done soon after.
Can't really say about the new controls as I'm playing exclusively with the original tank ones for the trophy. I did fiddle with them a little before starting new game, seemed fine to me, much better than the tank controls in fact. I think the review missed the point on the puzzles, they're indeed old school and sometimes very hard to figure out but on the other hand extremely satisfying when you beat them. This will certainly turn off many people as modern gamers are used to The Walking Dead levels of easiness. Game's not a remake so I also disagree on the visuals which remain great IMO.
I also think they were being very nitpicky about the puzzles. The whole joy of these games is figuring out things, trying to assemble objects and seeing how they work with the environment. But I kinda agree on the graphics thing; it's a remastered version. Shouldn't it take advantage of the hardware and boost the graphics? As for the controls, I think they were inspired by the PaC mod that was released. PS: I checked your PSN on PSNProfiles (if that's alright with you) and holy ****; 157 platinums and number 149 in your country???! Way to go!
