In typical SCEE fashion they neglected to mention New Zealand and Russia would also miss out on Duke Nukem. Nothing official announced of course, just GCU in its place. It's like a cat chasing its own tail.

Awesome, thanks! I was literally thinking about the game and how it was coming along a few hours before you posted that.

Now I just wish it would release, but I feel that may not be for a while.

The trailer for the movie looks quite hilarious! The trailer for the game is interesting but doesn't show any actual game play but because I'm a SpongeBob fan I'll be getting this game for the Vita and my 3ds( new 3ds if it gets released early this year)
    Lots of fun

Does P4G really take 2+ hours to start?

Well, if you don't mind reading dialogue, then its really not so bad. It definitely gets interesting after the first hour or 2. Of course you can skip the dialogue but thats not ideal.

It's a lot of setting up and getting basic plot details. It was really interesting to me but it does get slightly annoying when all you want to do is jump into a dungeon.

May I ask what you meant by "start"? Half the game is reading, doing redundant things like searching for characters to talk with, chosing dialogue options, and visiting areas to advance the story. Battling in dungeons is another half of the game.
So it all boils down to how much you can handle dialogues in your RPGs and how much you grow attached to the characters.

I'm about 2 1/2 hours into P4G and I'm really enjoying the story and am about to jump into my first dungeon. But my question is, will the level of interactivity increase? Right now I can only really walk around my house and choose speech options.

You'll eventually get a scooter, be able to to go to the beach, get jobs and much more. It's a truly fantastic game. The social links are incredibly fun and doing them benefits you in combat. Join a sport and club. Theres really no negatives to doing so and the side stories are a lot of fun. I'm pretty far right now, 63 hours in, I have 3 more dungeons to do I believe.

EDIT: By the way, after you beat the game there is an anime for the game you can watch online if you're into that type of thing. Just don't watch it as you play because of spoilers!

Man, I was looking at upcoming vita games and there were like 50 different Hyper Dimension games coming out in the next 3 months! Okay, maybe it was only like 3 but still... Don't know much about the series but I don't think I would like it judging by the pictures...

Thanks. When I get the scooter will it be more "free"? Like right now it chooses even when I got to school and what I do on the walk home. Plus that guy that crashes his bike and the "short haired girl" (i forgot their names) follow me everywhere.

There is a good amount of freedom and stuff to do but as for the school part thats all pretty scripted and the walks to school too because they usually set up plot. Don't worry once you get through the first 5-8 hours you'll be well on your way to having fun

Thanks. I'm having tons of fun now, I'm just hoping that I'll get to decide what happens a little more often, and based on your answer, I will. #

I just finished the first season of the Walking Dead. I thought the story was pretty good, it was a nice change from the usual. However, I felt the actual gameplay was lacking. There were also some bad lag issues which made quick time events hard sometimes. Also, I feel like the whole making different decisions part was overhyped. "Did you just save that person? Don't worry, we will force them to die in a couple of minutes anyway."

While there are issues with the game, the story is enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good story. Though now that I think about it, I'm probably the last person to actually play the game.

Oh, it's also an easy platinum if you're into that kind of thing.

    Did you play 400 Days?

Weird thing about the plat, season 2 doesn't have one.

Edit: Btw, not announced for handhelds or mobile yet but check out Life is Strange
