Quite the discussion over the last couple of days. Thanks Anubis for all those impressions - really helped a lot. I am thinking I may buy Terraria today before the sale is over as I never played it before - thought is was 2D mine craft. Also, sorry about the misspelling - won't happen again- maybe. I feel like my role in life is to be that person in the system that is mostly helpful, but every now and again has to gum up at least some section just to make sure everyone knows he is still alive and kicking. @one.sixty.four - you get that Vita yet or still holding off?
Haha, no need for apologies since you have already been forgiven. Your role on this forum is too big for me to have you lashed over a simple spelling mistake. Besides, you're one of my favorite servants. In regards to Terraria, it is kind of like Minecraft in the sense you can build and destroy stuff. However, Terraria seems much more focused on combat and exploration whereas minecraft is more focused on survival and building. Terraria also has more of a challenge than minecraft, and some pretty neat bosses! Let me know if you decide to try it.
Hey, I noticed that Freedom Wars and the God of War collection are both $15 on Amazon. Also, it looks like The Wolf Among Us and both seasons of The Walking Dead are $15 also, though I'm not sure how much they usually go for.
Whoops, I just looked back and saw where I missed your comment. I would be careful though, attaching comments to your heart may weigh it down a bit. Also, were you the one that recommended Rogue Legacy to me? I'm sure some people here remember how much I enjoyed that game. Anyways I saw where I had about 67% of the achievements, so I went back and got the platinum trophy for it. It's a great little game.
Way to go! You really are motivated for these trophies! Work on Persona now but make sure to start off on hard for the Risette trophy (don't worry the game is not even that challenging on hard).
TA says "While by no means a replacement for the full PC version of Terraria, this pint-sized iteration is an effortless recommendation." about the ios version but Slidetoplay says "This is the full version of Terraria built from the ground up for iOS, if you loved it on PC or consoles, youll love it here." I think there is no multiplayer. Vita - IGN says this "Taking Terraria with you on-the-go puts an exciting spin on the absorbing formula, and the Vita version thankfully doesn't skimp on the goods. There's no depth sacrificed here. If anything, improved controls and amenities like the touch interface make a big difference over playing the PC or console versions." It was on sale on the Vita for $4.50 yesterday...
Thanks! However, I was already close to completion for that game anyway from just playing normally. I'm probably not going to go out of my way to platinum any more games unless I'm only a couple of trophies away from doing so. I haven't even started Persona, and I'm not so sure I'm ready for another jRPG yet. Haha, that last part made me laugh. They are some good deals, but I'm going to try to refrain from buying more vita games. I have way too many.
(In the US) Best Buy has Freedom Wars for $14.99 too and you get 20% off with if you have Gamers Club Unlocked. After tax I only paid $12.71, I think it was. Also worth noting that GCU is on sale $30 for 2 years.
Yeah, I noticed that. Games Club gives you 20% off all game prices all the time? Any exclusions? I would probably save the $30 over 2 years, but if there are lots of exclusions, then I might not...
Trust me, you're not ready for that stupid Risette trophy, it annoyed me so much I had to take a break from that game. Will be back someday when my huge backlog allows, I hope.
Frankly it popped during my first playthrough. All you had to do was start on hard mode (to get hit more easily by ennemies with ailments), swap characters in each dungeon, and equip different costumes on your characters then talking to them to see what they have to say about them. That's it really. Takes work but is completely feasable.
Thanks! I wish it was a cross buy but since they're usually $14.99 each, totaling roughly $30, I guess buying both for $10 is pretty good.
All new games, including pre-orders, are 20% off. Used games are 10% off. Also 10% bonus value for trade-ins. It's definitely worth $30 for 2 years!
