You can check my PSNProfile account: http://psnprofiles.com/Keiser-One (I only bought the Vita in May 2014 so I'm sure my library is nothing compared to everyone here).

I bought mine around the same time and my library is probably the biggest one here! Haha, but I've picked up so many games but have only completed a few. I see you pretty much platinumed everything... Cheater.

How are your ps vitas holding up hardware and screen wise. I'm assuming you have the slim model but maybe you own the oled model. Thinking of maybe getting a vita....which one. There's a lot of debate on the Internet to read

What's your account if I can compare? I also have two 3DS and an iPad so I juggle all the good games on each of them lmao.

Concerning trophies I like having a full completion percentage, but I am very much against trophies that have time or life constraints (complete game under 3 hours or without dying) and trophies based on multiplayer (even refuse games that encourage them) as it goes against my idea of what gaming should be: something to spend time with at your own leisure and pace, while getting rewarded for your commitment and hard work in them.

I definitely recommend the new model. The LCD screen is different from the OLED, but it's still a fine screen, and the other improvements are all great. I had an OLED and upgraded. When you first play, going from OLED to the LCD model it is kind of weird, but once you get use to the display, and you will, it looks great. If you are starting out with the LCD model you won't have even that issue.

Thanks crunc! That's where I was leaning but it's great to get a first hand experienced opinion on the matter. I have my eyes on some games I'm really interested in but any recommendations you can give as I submerse myself into the vita? Thanks

Ummm... I need to find out my name... And how to show a link to my games. I figure out my name but how do I show a page like yours? Also, you have two 3DS's? Why?

That's a cool point of view on trophies... My completion rate is probably 3%... I see games on sale, buy them, start playing and then something comes up so I can't play for a while. Then I forget where I was in the game, so I try another one that's in my massive backlog. Then the cycle continues... Well, I'm not planning on selling my vita so I'll have it for a while.

Im in there with you buddy. I think the most time i have in one game is maybe 10-12 hours. But lots of hours overall.

You mean the psnprofiles.com link? You just go there and search any PSNID you want on the tab on top and it will redirect you to said person's account and list of games etc.
Yeah I got an original 3DS and got an XL before coming to Europe since I only use ones region locked to the USA. It's more of a backup thing as games are tied to the device itself and not to an account like PSN. So if you have your 3DS stolen or broken, there goes all your purchases basically. So I spread my games out between both especially my long bad history with nintendo's handhelds like loose hinges that dismantle completely, top screen that goes off completely, unresponsive buttions, and even had an insect crawl inside the top screen and just parade there.
As for buying games, I only purchase the ones I know I will fully complete to the max so you are lucky not to be as anal as I am :ppp

Also they announced a vita-exclusive action RPG just for you Anu: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6oEB6hNkuOA
It kinda looks bad? I donno...

If I were in your situation, I would get the Slim model. Better battery, buttons were improved, particularly the start/select buttons. Won't have any issues with the Mura effect either (OLED vs LCD). Though thats really only a problem whenever you're looking at a dark screen. The only reason to get the OLED model imo, is for the screen.

Having said that, My OG Vita is holding up just fine. Owned it for 2 years, no significant problems. Not really planning on upgrading anytime soon.

I will agree with darkhorse. I have the OLED version and am very happy with it. Everything I have read indicates the new slim is superior except for the screen. But, if you are not side by side comparing, you'll never know so get the slim, unless you can get the OLED version for some crazy rock bottom price. I got the 3G version with extra memory and some bundled games for 175 last year - too good to pass up.

Sounds very good! Nice deal you got there. I've been checking the Internet for deals and there is a pretty good deal I might go for but if I decide I'll have to decide very soon

Ah thanks, I'll have to try finding my page.

That's a bummer bout games being tied to the system... I wonder why they do that? Well, it's probably a good idea to have multiple 3dS's... It sounds like you use them to hammer nails, beat off kids who play in your yard, and occasionally as target practice for your tank...

I have to admit I would totally buy a 3DS if it came with a pet that I could carry around under the screen. I would name it... Anput and we would live happily ever after.

Also, I'd rather be like you than to buy a gazillion games and not finish many of them. I'm sure I'll get the time to eventually, but I could save so much money if I were like you. Well, there's probably not too many more games to buy unless I learn Japanease, so at least I won't have to worry about being a buyaholic for much longer.

Oh, about that game... Thanks for bringing it to my attention but DONT YOU EVER SAY MY GAMES LOOK BAD!!! Asshole... Now that we got that out of they way, the game doesn't look too good... At least I like the sun in the background...

Tomorrow at 0810 Pacific Standard time (I think - I am central time, and I am never sure if the time they show is my time, or PST) - but anyways - the Vita 16 Gb memory card is going on sale - not sure for how much, but last year I believe they were about $20 - much better than the normal price... Anyways, just in case anyone needs some more memory.

I have found the 16 actually a reasonable size - gets a fair number of games on it. I would rather get the larger ones (the 64) but those are almost never on sale and outrageously expensive most of the time.

Anyone get one? I did - $20. They went in about 10 minutes...

I'll go against the tide and tell you to buy the OLED one, I bought a slim but never got rid of the old one, so I'm always comparing them.

The OLED screen ALONE makes the original the best purchase. Sure, you get used to the new LCD but that doesn't make it any better. It's not that it's bad, but it's not remotely as good.

Battery on the slim is better but not that much. Buttons are definitely improved.

One major thing I don't see much commenting (probably because people usually don't have both devices) about is the touchscreen: the original is much better than the new. The slim is way less responsive.

Also, slim feels a cheap plasticky toy compared to the fat. It's like holding an iPhone 6 on one hand and a 5C on the other. I also prefer the grip of the fat but the slim improved weight is nice.

Thanks for your very good thoughts on the Oled compared to the Slim. I haven't bought one yet but me being a very visual person I'm definitely intrigued by the Oled and would prefer it. Will have to see if there's a deal some day soon
    Thanks again, cheers!

Not sure how long it will last. Ys: Memories of Celceta on sale at Amazon for $19.99. Looks like it doesn't go on sale often as the used games are in the mid 20s. Looks to get reasonable reviews. Action RPG / JRPG.
