Haha, glad to be of service. You're much funnier than I am though, and you're the one who started it!
It's spectacular, having my best RPG time in years. Also served to renew my faith in Bioware after the Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 fiascos.
Hey kids just got COD vita,it's not very bad according to the reviews.anyway after insert,it needs 400 MB for fixing the bugs and next yeah it's fine.besides multiplayer is fun.
Glad you are enjoying it. I'm not much of a call of duty person myself, so I never tried the vita version. So, people still play the multiplayer? Does say about how many are online?
Wow, that's a surprise. I remember hearing a lot of bad stuff about it. Then again, when I played through resistance there were a couple of people still playing. Issue with that was that they all had shotguns and mines and were the highest rank... I didn't like that game too much anyway, multiplayer wasn't going to change my mind.
I like my Vita, PS3 and will buy PS4. But just like Wii, 3DS, PS2... even my iPad. Devices will always put in to closet someday, but there are always new games there.
Hey fresh meat, I mean friend. I don't think I've seen you here before. Welcome to the forum! (If I've met you before, please ignore this message. Dead men have better memorization capabilities than I do.) Are you saying that eventually all devices will come out of the closet? I didn't realize that devices could be homosexuals, or even heterosexuals for that matter. Hmmm... Curious world we live in.
Hey nemerleb, I have a job for you. I've been in the mood for an action RPG for the Vita... On your mark, get set, go!
Have you tried Child Of Light? It qualifies as action-RPG because of the battle system. But I donno what you already played beforehand; Soul Sacrifice Delta / Ys Celceta / Ragnarok Odyssey are the ones I always recommend. There's the upcoming Zodiac https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY5c6CCvG-s to put on your wish list though.
Hey, thanks for the fast response and for the suggestions. I guess I should have been more specific, but I more so meant RPGs with real time combat that isn't just button mashing... Kind of like Dark Souls or The Witcher on consoles. YS kind of looks like what I'm looking for. I already have played SSD, and that game was great.
Well Child Of Light is real time actually and not button mashing since you have to plan ahead. The battle system is in the form of a line on the botton of the screen, where all participants are mapped. And each one is scrolling along it until they reach the "action" area. So if you hit an ennemy while he's inside the action area, he gets bumped back, allowing you to squeeze more time before his attack. Of course the same thing happens to you when hit inside your action area. Spells and attacks differ in speed, so that's also when strategy comes into play.
It does seem interesting, but not exactly what I'm looking for. When I said button mashing I meant games in which there are only one or two buttons to attack, and you just hit them till they die. Sorry I'm failing at being descriptive today. Ys actually looks kind of fun combat wise. How is the story, and is it challenging at all? Are there any upgrades or loot?
OK gotcha. Well basically it's a remake of a Super Famicom game. There are 4 difficulty levels to choose from so you can make it as challenging as you want. Story-wise, it's not really original and innovative, but it's not god aweful either; but the pacing is really quick, and you're encouraged to use all characters depending on the ennemies you face. And yes there's a lot of loot and materials to collect and use to craft weapons and accessories, on which you can add effects like poison or sleep.
It sounds pretty neat. I'm definitely going to have to pick this up sometime. I ended up buying Murasama because it was on sale at Amazon. I also bought P4G because I never played it and I heard a lot of praise about it. So in other words I wasted your time. You're welcome. Just kidding, I appreciate all of the suggestions!
Nah I never consider it a waste of time when speaking about stuff I'm passionate about. I platinumed P4G recently and can assure you it's worth it. So if you need any help don't hesitate.
