Please be joking, italodance. Please. The 3DS is absolutely not dead, sir. Let's bring the hate back down to around 2.2 - 2.5 and enjoy our respective consoles.
Jeez man... I was only doing some friendly comparing of the consoles. They're both alive and kicking and great for their own reasons
I know..ok fine.i hate stupid peolpe just want to keep saying PS VITA is a dead console Why? look we are getting cool games from any genre each week.are you blind or so jealous? Minecraft even couldn't run on 3DS. But 90% games of 3DS are for platformers or kiddy games.and Vita has any genre now, from FPS to TPS and from strategy to RPG. So what do you want? i bet more AAA games coming to Vita in 2015 from third parties, still hope for Resident Evil:Revelations 2. Let's wait and see.
Not sure if sarcastic? I dislike vehemently console wars, but 3DS is a long way from dead (Bravely Second/Monster Hunter/Smash Bros/Persona Q/Layton/Phoenix Wright/Etrian Odyssey/Devil Survivor to name a few), just like I cringe when I hear people saying Vita has no games (Pier Solar/Grim Fandango/Firefly Diaries/Twilight Hunters/Timespinner), because nowadays mentality is "indie are not real games". On the other hand, what does it mean to be a hardcore gamer exactly? Only playing shooters and peew-pews? No. It means you dedicate a large portion of your life playing video games, and that's it. Not 1 hour a week on a silly smartphone game, but at least 2-3 hours a day in a row.The term has been twisted to satisfy virgin geeks who need reassurance of their manliness and claim their elitist territory over a select genra in the wide pool that is gaming. And even if I grant you your definition of being an "adult" gamer, Nintendo still offers a lot of challenge and maturity; 3D Land's second half gets irritating without the tanuki suit, SMT4 still has the most difficult first boss, Devil Survivor has one of the hardest final bosses in tactical RPGs, the Etrian Odyssey franchise/Dark Spire are hard-as-balls, Bravely Default has adjustable difficulties to satisfy everyone, FE Awakening's Lunatic mode is a turn off for so many people, DK Returns is one the most devilish platformers created, VVVVVV, Bit Trip Run, Mutant Mudds, Pokemon/Smash Bros online tournaments... So please next time you need to hail and defend a company, do so with a bit more intelligence, because spitting on other companies who are actually doing a far better job, is not the way to go. Vita can hold its own without putting down other devices.
Totally ignoring the versus debate... after a lukewarm initial reaction I'm loving Pix the Cat (both on Vita and PS4), it's everything I loved about the old school arcade cabinets when I was a kid. With recent PS+ Vita freebies like this, Spelunky and TxK I've been able to recapture some of what I loved about gaming from my youth and then some.
Hey, nothing wrong with either system and neither of them are dead. If anyone else says otherwise, they shall be lashed a thousand times. Now, go enjoy your system!
Yo nemerleb, Timespinner isn't out yet. Unless I'm thinking of something different? I'm thinking of the Kickstsrted Metroidvania where you're a colored girl and have magical powers https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lunarraygames/timespinner Coming to 3ds as well
Yep I was mentionning confirmed upcoming games for both systems to make a point that both have good things coming their way and we shouldn't crap on either one (and I'm really hoping that person got my point). Timespinner is REALLY looking good. The last good Castlevanias were on DS. Where IS Konami these days?
The Castlevania that came to 3DS recently was atrocious. I'm hoping that The DS Castlevanias will come to Wii U virtual console since they were awesome, and it would be sweet to play them on the big screen. It'd give me another reason to buy a Wii U too Speaking of great games on both systems, are there any Steamworld dig fans here?
The newer installments are such a disppointing mess. The GBA ones are getting released on WiiU (http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2014/10/11/castlevania-circle-of-the-moon-available-on-wii-u-virtual-console-harmony-of-dissonance-and-aria-of-sorrow-on-the-way.aspx) Steamword Dig is awesome and I donno what to think about Steamworld Heist; we donno if it's coming for Vita (only 3DS atm) and I need to see some gameplay since Dig was flawless and so much fun.
Yeah, saw that this morning Probably gonna pick up Super Metroid first though. And Heist will come to Vita, it'll just be Nintendo exclusive at first because the devs love Nintendo. I think it sounds awesome, and I have full faith those guys can pull it off
HAHA! I was just coming here to post this. I just finished watching the trailer and found it to be awesome. I can't even remember how many hours / days of my life were spent trying to 100% the SNES Super Metroid. Still remains some of my finest memories of fun gameplay.
Playstation TV size comparison that a friend posted: Well that is a lot tinier than I was expecting. Not really sure I want one, though.
So I tried out PS Now with Saints Row 4. It's pretty awesome while also being terrible. I think I hate Sony for going this route, clearly wanting this to be the future while stifling potential ports/access from their other platforms...
Can you post more details on that? By the way did you notice some ultimate bundles in the All Deals sections of the SEN? I'm contemplating buying Soundshapes Ultimate bundle for 16$ (ALL DLC are in) but I donno if it's just a temporary deal or here to stay...
