Since there is some discussion about grips, what do people think about them? I have thought about trying them out, but wasn't sure if it was more of a gimmick. I have the old oled vita if it makes a difference.
To some extent with faster paced games - shooters, GoW, others I do have a bit of a challenge keeping my hands comfortable. For slower paced games it isn't an issue.

I also thought about getting a 64gb memory card so I would have plenty of breathing space, but if I did I would want to sell my 8gb and 32gb one. The problem is, amazon would only give $29 for the 32gb and a whopping $0.22 for the 8 gb. Ouch?

Any worthwhile PSP games that don't look or play terrible on Vita that I may be missing out on? I've bought Killzone Liberation (passable but very pixelated), Monster. Hunter Freedom Unite (actually not too bad) and Resistance Retribution (judgement reserved until I get in the mood to give it a bit more time).

Valkyria Chronicles I want to give a go, any other classics that are worh a shot?

Yeah, it's always a terrible value with those trade in shops. It's their bread and butter. What crazy is that tons of kids do it! They give you pennies and turn around and sell it for huge profits. Definitely try eBay. I've had wonderful experiences on eBay since selling my 3DS XL.

Excellent question here, I'm very curious as well. Personally, I;ve bought Crimson Gem Saga and have been very happy with it. Yggdra Union is pretty good as well - kind of similar to Advanced Wars in a way. Puzzle Quest is excellen stuff too. Also recently bought Gundnir (very good thus far) Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble (Not impressed at all) and Tokyo Jungle (very impressive roguelike in PS Mobile). Lord of Arcana seems promising for a hunter type game but only have about 2 or 3 hours into it so far.

Damn, after typing all of that, I think I have a problem... For years I was deprived of gaming and feel I need to catch up! :D

    No, this is it.

For me personally, the grip is pretty much like holding a PS3/4 controller. As opposed to letting your fingers dangle away from the Vita. I do have big hands.

If you liked Monster Hunter, you may like Gods Eater Burst. Similar but faster paced.

I liked Gladiator Begins as well. You may not benefit from the second analog. Still played perfectly fine and I put plenty of hours on it.

Take a look at The Eye of Judgement as well. Its a card game and there isn't really any others on Vita/PSP. Fun stuff.

The Nyko Power Grip looks like it has some mixed reviews, but it would be nice to get the additional time to play games, rather than charging more.

@darkhorse, I am guessing you like the CTA grip better? I am not the extra $20 is a good deal for a battery.

@pluto I haven't tried the power grip so no opinions on that. But then again, I wanted to start off cheap to get an idea on how a grip would feel, as I never had a grip on a handheld device.

Might get that Nyko grip in the future though.

I'd recommend Ace Combat Joint Assault.
It (and Ace Combat X Skies of Deception, the previous game on PSP which unfortunately isn't available on Vita) are some of the best flying games there are.

They also look fairly decent on the Vita an profit a lot from the second stick (the games have fully rebindable controlls.)

The one and only good looking PSP game on Vita without issues is:

God of War: Ghost of Sparta

And Please ignore all of other PSP games cause pixelated.

Pixelated or blurry - it's your choice.

The God of War games do look pretty great though.

I come back here just to see all forms of discussion have stopped. Has the world stopped turning?!?!

Well, I decided to finally pony up the money and buy a 64gb card. I figured I'm not going to sell my Vita, so I might as well just buy a large memory card. Now I should be ble to install a lot of digital only games without worrying for space. Hopefully I can sucker someone on eBay to buy the 32gb and 8gb ones.

I despise the 8gb memory cards. I have 3 of them. It sucks bad. Last time I asked how much for a 32 and it was something stupid high but now seems absolutely necessary.

With the rise in digital only titles, they really need to do something about these prices or it could hurt their game sales.

I upgraded from 8 to 16 GB a few months ago (After having used an 8GB card and going 99% digital for more than 2 years), and it makes such a difference!
Sure, 16 GB isn't all that much, but it's enough for me to not have to constantly consider which game I should delete. Plus I can have stuff like Killzone installed all the time. (Even if I don't play it that much anymore.)

Yeah, if your going to go for a 32gb, you might as well just suck it up and buy the 64gb. I think it's like 20$ more. I imagine that digital only titles already suffer from it.

Sniff sniff... I cried for you. Man, that must've sucked with only 8gb. I had 8 gb for two days and then decided to upgrade. I'm pretty sure FFX and X2 are like 6.4 gb. I don't know how you do it.

Killzone Mercenary, The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and Borderlands 2 where the biggest issues for me.

Yeah, they're hogs. Did you have all them physically, digitally, or a mix?

Also, I shall build a statue of you holding an 8gb memory card up. Unless there's somewhere here using only a 4gb....

The only Physical games I own are Uncharted, Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and Need for Speed Most Wanted.

Ouch, the games you listed before take up a good bit of space with the physical version. Having the digital versions of those games must eat up so much space.
