Well you make me laugh as well. Pluto was actually selected from the Disney character when my kids were much younger. But, it is a cool celestial body as well.

I am a dabbler with games - the swapper, Hot Shots golf, Chrono Trigger, Disgaea 3, Fez are all current, but most of my game time is actually on the PS4 playing Diablo - I remember playing Diablo on the PC way back when - been hooked on those types of games ever since - and Blizzard really did a nice job on this version.

That's stupid. Just kidding, I love when people have cool reasons behind their names. I really like how you chose it based on a Disney character that your children loved when they were younger. It says a lot about you. What movie is Pluto from? I can't recall ever seeing that character.

You seem like an open minded gamer. I think those kind of gamers are the best, they never run out of games! Plus you don't get bored by playing the same genre over and over. I tried Diablo on my PC, and played it a good bit. Not nearly as much as some people, but I got some enjoyment out of it. One game that I love that is in a similar genre is the borderlands series. Fun characters with their own skill trees, with bazillions of guns and humorous dialouge. Now I have put way too much time into that series. I'm pretty sure I basically robbed the developers when considering the price/ hours of gameplay.

Yeah, as Sid mentions - Pluto is Mickey the Mouse's dog. I have been a Disney fan since way back. I date myself, but that is OK - I tease people when I tell them that I was born when the USA only had 48 states and people are amazed that we added Alaska and Hawaii both in 1959.

Don't get me started on Borderlands! I loved the first one, then the second one was so much better, yet so much worse due to the bazzillions of worthless low level gear, and the almost impossibility of getting an orange weapon. That killed it for me. The only question I will have for the future of that series is going to be if the better weapons have some accessibility - if not, I am passing on it, despite how much I love the game - it is just too frustrating. Never got into multiplayer - I am from the days of man vs machine (programmer) - hours and hours spent on PacMan and Galaga.

I think that I am going to start playing the God of War on the Vita - loved them for the most part on PS3, and played one of them for a while way back on my nephews PSP and found it very playable.

Favorite genre in all the world ? Probably the RPG variety - I love to have story (although not too much) incorporated in the game. My first computer games (besides pong) were text adventures by Scott Adams and the infamous Microsoft Adventure. Zork came along, but then Wizadry hit the scene and I really got seriously hooked - also the King's Quest and many other Sierra Adventure titles. Then this company called Square put out this game called Final Fantasy, and my life has never been the same. I have hundreds of RPGs from a variety of systems - proud to say I have finished almost none of them. But most at least 75% or more done. Being a completionist is hard in RPGs, especially in the days before the internet and GameFaqs.. Ahh, the ramblings of an old man... better go clean my false teeth. :D

Thanks S.I.D, I love how when my brain starts failing you provide the answers I seek. You're much better than Siri.

Oh yeah, I think half my brain is burnt out. That is probably one of the most known Disney characters and I forgot. Ah well, I personally never have been much of a Disney fan. And hey, with age comes wisdom. That is unless you are me.

Yeah I know what you mean about Borderlands 2. I loved how in the first you would sometimes see a legendary in a vending machine and then start rushing to make enough money to buy it. Another thing I kind of disliked about Borderlands 2 is that I feel like there weren't enough guns. I know I may be crazy, but where are the Jakob's and Vladof SMGs, and The Torgue and Bandit snipers? I have to admit that I still played the hell out of both of them. I actually hit 61 in both games... With every character.

I have to agree, RPGs are great. Interesting stories, usually fun gameplay, interesting world and character and super long play times. What's not to love? If your a Final Fantasy fan, I'm sure you love the Vita. All of the games you used to play on consoles now fit in your pockets.

Well, it was cool learning about you Pluto. Now get back to scrubbing those dentures! :p

Hmmm.... I feel like I could hear myself echo in here. Did Gravity Rush 2 come out and everyone is busy playing it? Did the world end? If so, why haven't the dead risen yet?

On a serious note, has anyone played the Megaman X Maverick Hunter X on Vita? If so, do you prefer the 3D graphics or the original style better? I have megaman x4 on my vita, and I think it looks much better. 3D games age horribly in my opinion.

I'm also curious about MMX. I recently bought that other one, what the hell is it called.. MMX4 maybe? Thing is I never really played the MM games before so I'm trying to decide if I like them.

Other than that I picked up Demon Gaze which seems quite good so far and GTA Chinaland which is badass.

Does anyone know if the Broken Sword game for Vita has both episodes or just the first one? It doesn't say anything on the profile page of the game (unless I'm completely blind).

Has anyone played Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on the Vita?

Yeah, it's a psp game but it's only £3.50 right now and although I'm still playing P4G, I'm tempted to buy it.

I had MHFU on my ipad, I loved the game but the controls were unbearable for me so I had to stop playing. I'm thinking it might be good on the vitas buttons and analogue sticks?

The MMX is pretty neat, it has some differences from the original. The biggest being the 3D graphics. You can also play as Vile which is pretty neat.

I don't know... I didn't see anything mentioned on the store page either. I did find this site, but it's for the European store.

The graphics aren't that great on the vita, you can probably count the pixels. However, the controls work well, a lot better than the PSP. The only thing is that I would set the right stick to move the camera only left and right, not up and down. When I had it so it included the up and down buttons, I would always zoom in on accident. As soon as I switched it to only use left and right, it worked great. I haven't played the iOS version though I think they added new feature to that version. For example, the PSP doesn't have online play, only local.

MHFU runs great on Vita. As stated earlier, you can map the camera to the right analog stick and it makes the experience so much better.

If you have a PS3, you can download 'ad hoc party' from the PSN and hook up with other players. Otherwise, you're stuck with single player.

Some pretty good sales for the PS systems right now. Vita has all the original 4 Tomb Raiders for about $2.50 each... My have more as well.

This doesn't apply to the Vita in any way, but since you guys are my bitches and bitches help each other out, I figured I would post it. With the new app bundles there seems to be issues with pricing. For example, there was a bundle with Modern Combat 3-5. I own MC 3-4., so it let me complete the bundle for a discounted price, which just so happened to be free. There was also an RPG one when a lot of games I owned and didn't owned, and it let me download the others for free. Then there are some where if you own all of the games in the bundle, it will charge you to complete the bundle. You might want to check it out.

I never played Tom Raider, but I did get MMX and Gex for cheap. Thanks for the heads up on the sales though.

Yeah, some stuff free. Some stuff that I have everything, and it wants to charge me, and even different prices depending on whether I am on a mobile dice or my computer. It's all crazy, but worth checking out.
Oh, and I am no ones bitch, I would rather be dead, burnt, and my ashes scattered to the wind, the sea, and the stars.

I'm teetering on the MH or Resistance, I see resistance you can play with a ps3 controller (which is kinda pointless tbh, but I'm a sucker for the franchise). Pixels are the only thing getting in my way.

Well if you really want it I'll make sure it is never released. I do like the art style, it reminds me of Dragons Crown. I'm not quite sure how the persistent online world will work out...
