Seems like people are wanting Anubis to get his crazy on again... It did not bother me, but sometimes I wondered if he was in full ceremonial garb while typing out some of those responses....
For my part I liked it in here because it's a pretty small community and felt like rambling on and off topic was welcome and between "friends". But the way things got handled in a very harsh way pretty much turned me off from posting stuff on principle. Even if mods are right, I know they could have sent a kind little private message, and not post like that publicly. But Anu is handling it well, and anyways the thread will pick up once Vita gets out of hibernation mode and sees important releases.
I'm currently in the middle of it. It gripped my for a solid 60 hours and I'm towards the end of it. While the dungeons can get boring they don't take very long and the combat is incredibly fun so that's a plus. For only $20 its an amazing grab. You'll have to power through those first 2-3 hours of dialogue to finally get to some combat but nonetheless its a blast
Thanks for that. It was £14 on the PS store but I just bought it off play.com for £20. (Yeah, paid more but I'm physical only, won't buy digital. I like something tangible for my money )
I'm a die-hard SMT/Persona/DeSu hardcore fanboy. While I was very very very much disappointed by SMT4, I always recommend P4G for RPG veterans and newbies alike. First you can chose the difficulty right off the bat (even on Hard the game only presents a few challenges - if you know what you're doing of course). It doesn't get boring at all because it's very much balanced as far as RPGs go. Basically it's divided into 2 parts: one part VN-like interactions with other characters, where you need to raise your affinities with them (by choosing who to interact with, when, and what to reply to them), so you really make it your own adventure. The other part is visiting different dungeons where you take on ennemies in 3rd-view (no random encounters). And even then, it never gets boring since you're permanently encouraged to fuse stronger personas. Plus there's always the thrill at the end of a battle to know what bonuses you're gonna get. If you're not really feeling it, wait for an Atlus sale since they happen ALL the time on PSN. It would soften the blow if you end up disliking it. Edit: Woop just read your above post. Congrats for the game and don't hesitate to ask for help.
Woah, I come back and there's like a million posts! I thought I was the last... Sniff... Sniff... What? No, of course not! Well not usually anyway, I prefer to feel the breeze. Clothes only hinder, they serve no purpose. This community is awesome. It reminds me of the cult I used to.... Never mind, that isn't important. What I meant to say is this community will never perish! VIVA LA VITA! Also, I appreciate your comment. They could've sent a private message like you said, but then again they could have been a lot harsher. I appreciate you all sticking up for the community. Lastly, I for one am excited for Freedom Wars. I just hope it isn't too easy and that the bosses aren't too repetitive. Soul Sacrifice I found way too easy, and a lot of the bosses were kind of similar. I can understand why they were all humanoid like, but I wish there was more variety. Don't get me wrong though, I loved SS. Anyways, I'm curious if Freedom Wars will make this forum more livelier. They just asked me stop being so spamtacious.
Yeah that's what I meant, thought maybe I missed something. But anyways, I will leave the topic alone.
Yeah, it's all good. I'm sure we all use words interchangeably when were not supposed to. But it's all in the past, so we can move on and maybe blow something up instead. Or we could all just talk about Vita stuff, though I like my first idea better.
The point was that I'd preferr it if we had less posts that are literally just randomness. I can't and won't do anything against it if you do post that kind of stuff, but it'd be nice if stuff like that could be incorporated into posts that already have something of value to offer. (Wow, that made things sound way more complicated than what I'm trying to say...) I probably should have used Private Messages when I complained a few pages back, but I had honestly completely forgotten that they were even a thing and was hoping that people wouldn't take the One-Touch Ban & Clean thing as seriously, seeing as I can't actually do it to anyone here (unless someone feels like creating a new account and advertising shoes in this thread or something ). So with that said, I can't wait for Frozen Synapse Prime to release this month. I take it that it has online multiplayer, right? If a bunch of you are also planning on buying the game we could perhaps organize some kind of tournament!
So, does the breeze make the sway, or the sway make the breeze? Oh, and Mene - I am with you - I rarely buy digital - but sometimes there can be advantages - specifically with things like cross buy - I have a family and having a couple copies on different systems is huge. Hope you like Persona.
Oh, I understood your point exactly. I'm trying to write posts that are more so on topic. Of course, once you're born a lunatic you can't really change completely. There are no hurt feelings or anything though, I'll try to be less spamtacious and maybe we can leave the whole thing in the past. I have to admit though... I'm very tempted to make a new account just to see the one click ban and delete all button in action. I'll try to resist that temptation though. Also, I would try to answer your multiplayer question but I don't know that game. I'm just going to go with yes though.
Haha, you make me laugh Pluto. Too bad you're not an actual planet, it's a shame. On a side note, I can't really think of what types of games you usually play. My memory is a little faulty, so maybe I just forgot. So what have you been playing?
It's a turn based strategy game, here's the Launch trailer: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Release date: September 23/24 (depending on your region) (And the trailer confirms that there's online multiplayer, you can even play multiple games at once since it's turn based!)
Well, I guess I had a 50% chance of being right. Thanks for the trailer. It looks cool but it doesn't seem like my type of game. Ill probably pass for now.
I'd be keen if it ends up being as good as it looks and they haven't done anything crazy to the formula
