Well, I was playing don't starve. I didn't starve, I actually had a whole nice camp and setup. I did go exploring and ended up going insane though. Poor guy.
I just bought my first two Vita games, one digital (because there's no boxed version.. Damn them to hell) and a nice box to start my collection. Sword Art Online and Toukiden:Age of Demons. I'm broke now.. Considering SAO was digital only, it was damned expensive. Edit: Don't Starve would normally be a no brainer for me but as I already own it all on Steam, I really can't justify paying for it again.
But...but... It's portable... Just kidding. I had it on Steam but I didn't have RoG. It's such a great game so I just bout it again on vita. Anyways, congrats on your first two games! If I'm not mistaken, I think SAO just recently came out. So even a physical version would cost about the same.
Yeah SAO is new. Here's an odd thing, I was browsing the ps store 10 mins ago and for some reason Don't Starve! Giants Edition was a free download.. Uk ps store that is.. Weird.
Did you try getting it? Hmmm, it say free on the U.S. Store also. I already bought it though, so cannot confirm if it works or not.
Yeah this seems to happen from time to time. Definitely a bug though. I've seen it happen to me at least 3 maybe 4 times. The first time I was pissed, but than I realized I wasn't that unlucky. Your guys comments confirm it.
Just a heads up for those with a european PSN. Rising Star games are holding a huge sale on their PSN titles: http://www.videogamer.com/ps3/deadly_premonition_the_directors_cut/news/rising_star_games_celebrates_10th_anniversary_with_psn_sale.html I've been holding back on buying Zero Escape for Vita but this seems to only concern europe. Hopefully they apply this sale to the US
I did get it and it works. ..but I'm rather concerned. If I didn't pay for it does that mean I'm a pirate? Should I delete it now?
It's not like you intentionally went out of your way to download a cracked version of a game. So no, I wouldn't say you're a pirate. I'm assuming this is a mistake on Sony's end, so they might have to pay the difference to the developers. If you really want to support the developers, you can purchase it but I guess it's not wrong since they made a mistake. You just simply took advantage of it.
Thanks. I've just deleted it, it didn't feel right and I kind of felt guilty for having it. This way I can always buy it if I decide I want to play on the Vita at a later date.
Do you own Don't Starve on PS4? Or did you download it via PS+ for PS4 even if you didn't/don't have a PS4? At least in the US it is cross-buy, so I got the Vita version for free (and got the PS4 version free too via PS+). Velocity 2X is good, but I doubt I'll ever perfect all the levels. It's hard getting the hang of teleporting via the analog stick. Fun game anyway, though.
You can delete it, but if it was incorrectly listed as free and you downloaded it, then it is likely in your library and you will never be able to buy it because you've already "purchased" it. So you might as well just play it. Sony is cool about stuff like this (unlike Microsoft, who'll ban you for their own mistakes).
Yeah I'm playing WO3:Ultimate and looks so good, finally AAA,guys Vita is really better than iOS heheh,if you want to see a game like this on iOS,you better wait till end of your life heheheh
+1. There are some occasional glitches in the PSN stores occasionally. But, once you have it in your library it will stay there. The exception is if you have PS+ - then those "free" games will cost money again if you ever give up your PS+ account.
So what is this $5 iOS CounterSpy nonsense. I'm totally down with CS on iOS but at that price? It puts people like me who own both iOS and Vita in a difficult spot...
Gotcha, that's why I didn't purchase and support them, even told them much on PSN that I don't need it while coming to iOS.its like a slap on the face.
If anyone is on the lookout for a new rpg I would recommend Sword Art Online. Yeah it's pricey but it's new. I bought two games for my vita, SAO (digital) and Toukiden (boxed) and I've not even started to play Toukiden yet, SAO has totally gripped me and I'm finding myself playing it every spare moment. Which is unusual for me as I normally switch games every 10 mins but I've played nothing else for the past day or so. It's based off an anime cartoon and I really have never been a fan of those but the game is just fun to play and I guess I like the story because I used to play mmo's.
Are we sure it's the full game or will there be payed episodes? PLus the game was a huge letdown maybe that's why they slashed the price.
