Since someone wanted to hear my opinion on the SHIELD tablet: So yeah, playing PSP games at 1920 x 1088 is pretty awesome. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel (I was trying out ShadowPlay in that video, and as it turns out the audio quality in the videos it records is a little weird, there's no bass.)
Anyone try out any of these new games that dropped? SAO, Undead/Undress, or CounterSpy? I'm DLing that top-down shooter by 10 ton and am happy to report my impressions in a bit. I also got SS Delta last night and it seems nice. Really high production values and an interesting story kept me playing far too long into the night. That said, I'm a bit hesitant to say its recommended yet. Not sure what it is about the game, perhaps it'll grow on me. Also Conception being on sale made me take a look, still not sold on it though. I don't mind the suggestive theme, doesn't offend me being a single adult, I'm just looking for either a really good traditional RPG or something that offers more of a unique and well executed game mechanics. Example- an RPG with sim management perhaps? If anyone has any recommendations let me know. Vita PSP or even PS 1 games are fine by me, I missed out on many a decade in PS gaming.
Yeah the OG Soul Sacrifice didn't quite grab me at first but stuck with it and had a great amount of fun with it. Phantom Breaker is taking up my time. Got Undead/Undressed at launch but still haven't played it yet. Got myself a crazy backlog. RPG's? I can at least recommend Persona 4 Golden for sure.
Well, it's mine now. All mine, mwahahaha! Well, I had a $25 Amazon gift card since I allow Google to track my internet usage. I meant they probably would do it anyway so why not get free gift cards while letting them do it? Also, when I'm bored I get to search stuff like "Dead body in my wall reeks, how to get rid of smell?".
Thanks for the reply. Yeah I really enjoyed Phantom Breaker, good stuff. I just got P4 Golden at GameStop but I know that's gonna take some heavy time investment so I'm holding off a bit. good times.
Cool channel you got there Der-Kleine. I'm glad you're happy with it. Personally I would stream my Steam games on it if that's possible? I would love to play all my point-and-click games on a tablet instead of sitting with a mouse... Anubis what's that about gift cards???? Details please (and no you don't get coffee or slavery out of it)! ScotDamn make sure to check trophies beforehand if that's your thing. Especially that annoying one where you gotta hear the majority of your partner's lines.
It's called Screenwise Trends Panel. You basically just let google spy on you and you get a little bit of money each week. When you reach $25, you can cash out. You get 1$ for using a computer $1.50 for using a computer and a tablet $2 for using a computer, tablet and smartphone Hmm... So no coffee? Well then, hurry and fetch me some loose leaf tea!
darkhorse: did you start out on an easier difficulty? It's far quicker to get it on hard diff. I still haven't achieved it... Seems legit. Fine you can have your loose leaf tea (no sugar though, you'll get needy later on).
I did it on normal on my 2nd play through or maybe the 3rd. I think the key to getting the trophy is to keep your party under leveled prior to going to a new dungeon. I got the trophy to pop before fighting the Spoiler heaven boss. This guide helped me a bit as well (contains spoilers).
Yeah I saw this guide, but honestly it's so cumbersome to keep track of everything. The question is do the lines stack through playthroughs. The guide is good for those unique sentences, you can't predict alone. But all in all, randomness is the source of the trophy...I wanna hang the person who thought this trophy would be a good idea.
Sadly, the lines won't stack Yeah, that trophy can be a huge pita. But if you can stay organized and mix it up, you can get it as soon as I did. In other news EDF2 remake is coming to Vita! Loved 2017 Vita so will be buying this one too.
Nothing at ALL against you guys but, I just don't get the trophy deal. I couldn't care any less about it. Maybe it's because I don't have any friends with a Vita or even an iOS device? I certainly have a competitive streak in me, just not with trophies I guess. Nice video Der-Kleine! I was thinking about CounterSpy but wasn't sure even after reading a lot of praise for it. Your video convinced me I want it.
I just stumbled over EDF a couple days ago and sounds like an awesome time. I wouldve blindly bought it if it was so much!
You dare talk about us like that? Well it's okay, I never bother getting trophies either. Well I'm not really competitive either so...
You're getting my horns all tingly and my extra long tail all waggy "teehee" Good question so let me procede to educate the masses: a trophy list is a representation of yourself and your tastes as a gamer for others. It's also a log for you to keep track of all games that you complete throughout your gaming life (how many games you've fully explored and those that you've never touched-more of an extra long term memory substitute). Now on the other hand, the presence of trophies can alert you on in-game things that you wouldn't have found on your own (quests/items/NPCs), stimulating you to surpass yourself and try to get them without the help of a guide. Finally, and I think this is overlooked, trophies lengthen a game's playtime. A lot of people whine and whine how games are getting pricier and shorter. So achievements can lengthen your time with your purchase and at the end, you'll receive a sense of accomplishment that you got "the bang for the buck" out of your money.
