Sony should make a smart move,maybe allow most of PS3 games run on PS Vita and you can buy and download them via Vita.
I was just kidding about that comment I made before by the way. In my opinion though, I love my vita. I would much rather play indie games on my vita rather than my PC. Then there are some great games on the vita, like Killzone, Tearaway, Dragons Crown, Little Big Planet, Soul Sacrifice, etc. Another thing I love about my vita is how I can play PSP and PSOne hames on it. Final Fantasy 1-10 all on a single portable device? Yes please! Sony may have given up advertising the Vita in the west, but I don't think they have given up on it completely. They still update the store, add new ps plus games, and get some games for the West. I think they just neglect it because they struck gold with the PS4. People are going crazy over those things, so they made the business decision to focus all of their marketing on that. Also, Japan with their weird shit is awesome. Without them the Vita probably would be dead. Oh and the other thing I love about the vita is the community. I used to have a Xbox 360 and the community was just....ughhhh! You guys on the other hand are great! You don't bicker about each other choices, you all try to help each other, you all can have civil discussions, and you all obey me without questioning. Viva la Vita!
I gave up on vita now after Yesterday pretty much. I bought the device when it came out back in 2012 and I bought over 40 games in past 2 years and only games I can recall I think it was worth spending $40-$50 was maybe 2-3 titles. Rest was mediocre at the best and cash grab disasters. I was on twitter and listening fans rages and I sent few as well. If Sony wants to make indie games the major library go ahead. But remember all the indies on the vita can be purchased on PC/PS3/PS4/iOS as well. For cheaper and better. If anyone is stupid enough to pay $10 limbo where they can buy it for a buck on vita I don't know what to tell you. If anyone is stupid enough to pay $30 for farming sims when it's $3 on iOS go ahead it's your loss. I will never buy another handheld from Sony. Well not right away anymore and other consoles/handheld in general as well. Shahid claim at e3 there were over 100+ titles in development for vita. Well he should have said instead of development, and said "porting" because far as I know, non of the games he rambled on twitter yesterday is vita exclusive games. Anyways, cheers if you still enjoy your vita. Because as long time Playstation fan and gamer who actually prefers portable gaming over console, I am done with Sony and way they are handling vita
Vita community are the one of the worst fanboys (right beside wii u) Also psp games? You can play all those on psp without needing to purchase your psp games again. Not to mention you can easily just hack it download entire psp games for free and get Japanese only titles and install english patch (which vita can never do). It's pretty ridiculous how the situation is fine because you can buy and play old games once again
Woah man, calm down. No need to come in here raging like that. I understand why you are frustrated, but don't take it out on us. It's not like we only play PSP and PSOne games on the vita. I have 7 physical vita games and 7 digital games and I got the slim bundle when it came out it may. Some of us also realize the work that goes into developing and publishing games and refuse to steal. I was nearly stating I'm happy with my Vita. Sorry you are not happy with yours, but just because you're unhappy doesn't mean the rest of the world has to be unhappy with you. Sell your vita if you don't like it and never visit a vita forum again. Problem solved.
Right but I said some games not whole PS3 archive,the games that could run perfect on vita.specially olds like Dead Space 1. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Space_(video_game) Don't you think Vita run this? Most Companies can bring their old games again on Vita and i swear it helps much for selling more Vitas.
I think the problem with something like the original Dead Space isn't that the Vita couldn't run it, but that it would have to be updated for it to run propperly & well. Plus of course you can't just have the PS Vita emulate a PS3. Porting and updating games to run better on the Vita's hardware costs time and money which large developers/publishers don't seem to want to invest.
I have not posted on the vita forum here before. I have had 2 PS Vitas now. I bought on launch back in 2012 but then sold a year later due to lack of support. I have now purchased the new slim and very pleased I have done so. I have had them all over the years etc and have favoured Sony over Microsoft for sometime. Having a portable is what I need due to work and time. I am on the road a lot and need something I can take with me. Various games have tempted me back - Killzone, Batman, Injustice, Borderlands 2, Walking Dead 1 and 2, Football Manager and Definately Final Fantasy X/X2. With more to come - The Wolf Among Us, things are looking brighter. I have so many fond memories of Ps1 and have picked up many of these digitally - Resident Evil Trilogy most recently and FF7/8/9 previously, which I bought back when I had a PS3. It isn't for everyone but I feel more positive now. Recent news has suggested thanks to the PS4, demand is outselling supply. It is also now outselling the 3ds so things may be looking up.
Exactly what I was gonna say. Maybe this person should have kept not posting on this board lol. EDIT: coz this is really getting on my nerves. IF anyone writes a looong post full of arguments and good points, everything will be rendered null when you start rivalry and pathetic comparisons to other devices and companies. No matter what people say, ANY handeheld game that is NOT released on either 3DS or Vita is a loss for us dedicated gamers. I mean iOS is super cool and I welcome everything of quality on it, but it should never overcome dedicated consoles. /rantover

I think the Borderlands 2 bundle was selling out in several stores. The reasoning for that though probably was because each store was sent 3 to begin with, then Sony stopped resupplying the bundles when BL2 didn't do so hot.
I agree, but Vita is da bestest consoley thang in da worlde! Kidding I do think mobile is the future though. How often do you see people with tablets and smart phones? Now how often do you see people with Vitas and 3DS's? I'm sure Nintendo might eventually release another handheld since their exclusives never touch mobile. Sony on the other hand I think is done. Also, you're rant wasn't bad. At least you weren't hostile towards the world.
It's funny that you think there's a switch they can flip to "allow" a PS3 game to run on a Vita. I couldn't disagree more. Your rant suggests that iOS is not (and later, should never become) a platform for dedicated games or gamers. Why not? Don't get me wrong, I think there will be a place for dedicated consoles and handhelds for a long while still. Having grown up with Nintendo consoles and handhelds, it definitely makes me sad to see them bleeding money as they struggle to keep up with competitors. But when people are getting more enjoyment out of a device they already carry in their pockets, it becomes harder and harder to argue in the defense of a dedicated gaming machine. Anyway, I came here hoping to see some impressions of Hohokum, and all I see over the last several pages are complaints over Sony's neglect of the Vita at Gamescom. Is this GotY or what! While I found it easier to play for long periods of time on my PS3, the Vita version is quite stellar. Anyone else pick it up?
Would much rather see EVERY single PS1 and PSP game playable on Vita first. Oh yeah, and none of that "need to transfer from PS3" crap. Every game should be available for download from Vita store.
I had to actually look for a Vita in my area and I live where there are tons of game outlets. Whether that was poor supply or a lack of ordering isn't known. Saying a lack of enough triple A titles means the vita is doomed is ridiculous.. Not a fan of this thought process. If I wanted an interactive movie experience, I'd simply buy a PS4 or XBOX. Also I find it alarming and severely off putting that some users sneak in this thread to slam and bitch and moan about the Vita and its lack of triple A support. Leave your tears at the door..
