Marijuana. Possibly hashish, although it could mean a number of different drugs that are smoked. You probably aren't from the US - it's culture specific. Most things you can just look up on the net - there are different meanings for somethings, but most are pretty standard like lol.
Ahhh, thanks for the answer. The sad part is I was born in U.S. and have never left. I'm just a terrible American.
That's strange: On my Vita 1000 the Serial Number and Date Code to the right of the headphone jack are definitely printed on the sticker. (...which has also started peeling off for me, so I put a piece of sellotape over the part which is peeling off to keep it sticking to the rest of the Vita.) I think I remember reading someone saying that the version of Couterspy demoed at E3 2014 was a lot better than the one from Gamescom 2013, but can't say for sure.
Well I think mine is a sticker also, it just had a clear film protecting it which I thought was the actual sticker.
Unfortunately, he mentions in the article that he watched someone playing at E3 and got really excited. He then demo'ed it at Gamescon and had bad impression. So it does not give me much confidence if it got worse as more time went on....
It's not modern, but I tried to make it clear that it would just be one of those games that would go perfectly with a bowl... not that it would require one to enjoy. If that's the case, I'll probably wait for the iOS version to check it out. I guess it depends on how well it works with touch controls. It was honestly one of my favorite games from TGS last year, and even though I'll be playing it first on Vita, it's the game that might make me buy a PS4.
You were clear on the part that it would go good with a bowl and not need it. I'm just slow and got caught up on what the bowl part meant, not what it would go with. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
That list is awesome! I've been away from Vita for a long while, so have plenty of catching up to do. Thanks for posting.
You guys are crazy! Super glad theres a thread here on TA for ViTA! The biggest thing Ive noticed since playing is how much longer I play vita games compared to mobile. I havent had a console in a few years now and only have gaming on iDevices. But it seems you can't substitute a proper game console - at least as far as thorough gaming goes. As for being a total newb to vita, are there any links you guys can provide for reading up on "what to buy" on the store and why the hell I bought a plus membership? It's tough to navigate through the playstore - especially with most games not having screen shots or reviews (I think I'm too used to the app store). I bought the plus and now it seems like a waste without having a ps 3 or 4. Only a few games are free (which I don't care for) and the other discounted ones are scarce!
If your main beef is lack of pics/vids then you're better off using the desktop version of the store: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/?smcid=ps:show-now:visit-playstation-stores-playstation-store It directly shows which games are discounted for PS+, it displays a summary of each game with a list of the available DLC, and even vids. Plus you can notice a PS+ list on the left side which will show you all available games for your membership. Much better than the built-in store on Sony's consoles.
Or maybe you're crazy and we're sane? HA! Well, glad you could join our side. Despite what people say, the Vita is a great console. It's nice to kick back on a couch, lay in bed, or hang from a tree and play a game. Someone provided a link with a list of current and upcoming games I think. I believe it had photos also, though I'm not sure. I'll see if I can find and quote their post for you. I agree that Playstation's store isn't the most user friendly, but you should get used to it over time. As for the plus, there are 2 "free" games a month. Also, there is a chance of having Plus discounts every week. Some games also get pre order discounts for Plus members, there are actually 4 or 5 right now for 20% off. Whether it is worth it or not is up to you. The one thing I will tell you about Plus is that if you subscribe to a free game, you won't be able to buy the digital version of it until your Plus membership expires. Well, I hope you enjoy your new system! Edit: Here is the link nemerleb posted... http://i.imgur.com/Kc4CnAg.jpg
I don't have a Vita but I do own a PS4, so please forgive what might be a lame question. Can you run Emulators on the Vita right now? If so, what's the highest spec machine it'll emulate at a solid speed?
Your question is not lame. I don't think the vita has any emulators yet. Sony's proprietary memory card has prevented a lot of exploits. I have heard of some games that could be exploited to allow emulators and such, but I believe it was tied to the PSP emulator. It basically would be the equivalent of using a PSP to emulate games, which worked okay with anything under a N64. You're better off looking at different devices for emulators. PC, PSP, iOS, and Android are some systems that have emulators. I believe I have also seen some cheap Playstation knock offs focused on emulators. I believe they are illegal though because they ship with Roms.
Hey Anubis - I remember when you were thinking about whether PS Plus was worth it. Looks like you got hooked like so many others of us. I held off getting PS Plus for until last year, and I had an original (actually still have one) PS3. Now I wish I had bought way back when. The Vita is an incredible system though.
Hahaha you'll have a blast wasting time in the dungeon. Though you must know when you die, the next dungeon is randomly generated so you won't feel bored of running through the same thing all over again. That is until you acquire the abilite to stabilize it later on. When you die you get to keep all gold and skills acquired from your previous run but you are randomly assigned a new hero with an ability and trait that can be an advantage or disadvantage. Here's a list of these if you're feeling curious:http://uk.ign.com/wikis/rogue-legacy/Traits You can see some are hilarious and I promise they affect your gameplay.
I'm still iffy about it. I for the most part have disliked the free games, but have enjoyed the sales. If nothing else, the Plus membership has probably paid for itself by now through the sales I've gotten. The vita system itself though has been very awesome. I've had such a great time with it, especially with the ability to play PS1 and PSP games.
It really seems like it's going to be a great game. That or you're a REALLY good salesman under cover.
I worked in two banks for two years which is even more about marketing than actual marketing jobs. You kinda pick up some stuff
