I donno where to begin with your comment; the fact that you're using "gross" to qualify a gameplay idea, or shaming devs for branching out of normative paths and trying to support a device on the brink of death.
OK, let me quote myself because I feel I'm being misunderstood: my sadness for the never to be released game was made even greater because a Levine-designed turn-based Bioshock RPG would likely be one of the best mobile games ever period.
Yeah, while I loved every Bioshock game it's kind of hard to imagine turned into a FF Tactics type game. Being designed by Levine though, I could also see it turning out to be a wonderful mobile game.
So I just found out that Borderlands 2 was ported to the vita (I don't own one so....) Any chance at all of borderlands 2 coming to iphone ? I'm sure the iPhone 5s is more than capable of running it. I don't know the actual statistics but I'm sure both devices stack up pretty evenly ...
Bit of a weird question but I'm just after playing "The Wolf Among Us" on the PC and I ended up playing all five episodes in a single sitting and enjoyed it (pretty much played as a psychopath the whole way) I maybe should have waited for it on Vita but it has me thinking about the other Telltale comic game. Wondering really if I would enjoy it as much should I get the Vita version or would I be better of getting it on PC.
I've not played The Wolf Among Us, nor have I played The Walking Dead on Vita... But, knowing Telltale the will be fairly similar mechanically and after having played TWD with a touch interface (iPad) and on PC, I would imagine the touch and control method on Vita to be a better experience than PC as far as submersion goes. Framerate would be another issue though, iPad was shockingly poor in parts but unsure how the Vita port fares.
Haven't played the PC version but on Vita and PS3 The Walking Dead is pretty much identical, even the framerate hiccups. Don't know if it's the engine fault or just bad coders but I played every Telltale game except TWD Season 2 (yet) and all of them had technical problems, but nothing gamebreaking and it (finally) got better in The Wolf Among Us.
Decided just to pick up the PC version of Season One to avoid potential lag and it's good (Played the first two eps already) although I'd probably have been more impressed if I hadn't played The Wolf among us first. I think I'd definitely give the edge to the Wolf game it's probably less involving but it has a good storyline that lets you really be a complete jerk and I found that a lot of fun to play I might even pick it up again on Vita when it appears. I'll definitely play fully through the first Season of TWD and see if my mind gets changed as to which is best (I'll even probably get the second once it's complete).
Yeah, saw that. Looks like that could be a must buy. Metroid on SNES was one of the greatest games EVAR.
I forgot to ask, did anyone else go crazy on the Flash sale? I think I picked up 6 games. Also, how have my vita bitches been doing?
We do get amazing sales with no actual discounts though, like the current Gaming on the Go sale, they're really brilliant
